Boarding house

Now I’m gonna be honest I am a friend of the owners of our pad your paws but I recently adopted a large rescue dog who has some special requirements (she hasn’t had the best start in life) she is a little nervous of strangers and can take her time to warm to other dogs she is however loving and obedient. But the time, patience and effort Lynn and Gary took with her was first class. I will add I am a dog groomer so I’m good with dogs and dog handling so I know my stuff but like with kids always harder when it’s your own. But the time and effort Lynn and Gary put in before our stay was above and beyond. Lynns eye for dog body language was spot on and I honestly learnt a few things from her. The bond they both have with my Bonnie is just lovely and I absolutely had no worries leaving her for 2 days including an over night. Lynn gave me regular photo updates of my Bonnie looking relaxed and happy with them and her new best friend Floyd. And Gary took her for a long woodland walk. I highly recommend them. It really means the world to leave your furry best friend in loving capable hands. Thanks Lynn and Gary

When Hotel Hounds took my dog for 5 day I was nervous as it was the dogs first time away. Lynsay offered myself and the dog a meet and greet and I was reassured at Lynsays professional approach and how she integrated my dog with others as she knew mines was a timid dog. Lynsay sent daily updates with pictures aswell as videos of my dog playing, sleeping ect. These small touches put my mind at ease so I was able to relax on my holiday. I will certainly be using Lynsay dog services again and definitely would recommend Lynsay to anyone thing of using Hotel hounds.

Our 2 Spaniels are looked after very well. This is the 2nd time and the longest they have stayed with Lisa and Jonathan. They share a big kennel and we take our own food and bedding. Lisa washed the bedding whilst they stayed for a week. They have lovely long walks twice a day in an adjoining field with a brook running down the middle. Lisa is attentive and listens to us when we explain the needs of our dogs, and is willing to administer medicine prescribed by our vet. We would highly recommend the kennels, and we have booked the pair in again for a stay in January.

I needed a dropped door fixing and some sealant done. Chris was brilliant, replied really quick. Gave a very reasonable quote, he came very quick and did the job very fast and professionally. There were no hidden fees, no extras. He was great. Can’t recommend him enough. Thank you so much.

Good communication and happy dog, what more could you need?!

We are extremely happy with how Sarah looked after our dog Siena while we were away one afternoon. Our dog is a 1 year old Hungarian Vizsla, very excitable and full of energy and Sarah was amazing with her. Sarah also listened to all our requests and followed them without any issues, she also changed her plans to make sure that Siena was comfortable when walking with her (Siena was reluctant to go in the car, so Sarah changed the walking route and made sure that Siena still had the best time!).We have met several dog walkers/sitters and Sarah is by far the most professional dog sitter/walker we know, we were very positively impressed by how much information she asked us about our Siena and by how much information she gave us about her business. Sarah also sent lots of updates and pictures of her time with Siena which we truly loved! We have already planned to ask Sarah to look after Siena more often! :)

Great place to stay, mainly for longer stays but Manu kindly let us stay for one night. It is very clean and well kept upstairs even though it looks a little rough when you first walk in. Great price for four people and Manu was a very helpful and reliable host.
