Athletic track

No idea why I'm rating an athletic track but here you are. It's definitely not the best surface but it's one of the only free tracks in the area and if you like running round and round then this is your best choice.

Clean toilets and ample parking. Staff efficient.

I go every week and enjoy the swim but have recently seen a decline inspite of new showers and hair dryers.One of the dryers is quite often out of order.All the lockers are a disgrace and need renewing - half of them are broken or have bits broken off.One toilet door in the ladies has been broken for years.Both spinners for costumes have been removed and I believe not being replaced.Floors are not very clean either.But still they put the prices up. Disappointing.I complained last year about some men in showers shoving their hands down their trunks to wash their bits -not a pretty site- I was told by text that this would be looked into.I had hoped someone might put a sign up asking them to show respect for the fact that there are women in the showers too but nothing.So if I could go somewhere else to swim near by I probably would.

Great day for our school sports day

Speedway great and fab stadium but not a good experience in terms of catering. Earlier in the year, I went to purchase food 45 miniutes before the start and was given ticket number 82. They then called out 57 so clearly I was in for a wait but 45 minutes to go, so no problem. 30 minutes in, we were up to 63 and absolutely no sense of urgency. Looked at the screen and riders were coming out. Gave it a further 10 minutes by which time they had called 73. Asked for money back which was given. Not impressed.Second time after travelling 2 hours from Leicester needed to use bathroom. After buying tickets to get in, had to queue whilst we waited for gates to open with no facilities.. Sign quite clealy states no food or drink to be brough in. Fair enough however no food or drinks outlets open to be able to buy food or a drink once inside. Massive queue formed and shutters eventually opened. Again no sense of urgency to deal with the volume of people. Moral of the story - come to Leicester

Purely for weights, this is the worst gym I've ever been to. I work from home and have tried to come at almost every hour, it's always a slog to get to use most equipment. Barely any benches or cables. The worst thing is that they could easily fit out the indoor running track area, which is always empty, with more equipment but don't. No comment on the wider facilities but the running track is a plus.

Mary and I called in for a Cycleability session. The track was ideal for anyone wanting to start or return to cycling. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Fast service, well packed, top equipment and excellent customer service when I asked for an itemised receipt. First rate company

Scruffy, needs a good clean inside and out and decorating. Not at all impressed.
