Czech restaurant

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, a proper testament to the Czech hospitality! We quite enjoyed our meals, the restaurant offers a very good representation of a traditional Czech cuisine. The place itself is nicely and decently decorated, reminding bygone era of postwar Czech emigration to London. Also, there was a very nice music in the bar!

Fantastic selection of Czech beers, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff.Would recommend some of the traditional food dishes on offer too.They also do a happy hour every day.

We came for two pints, but ended having Becherovka, fun and leaving after closing hours! That's how good it is! Love the beer selection, food was great - we had duck leg and homemade crisps, very friendly service, great atmosphere - we could watch Wimbledon tournaments. Prices are very fair for London, no nasty surprises. Maybe the food portion could be slightly bigger, please? :-) Make sure to try Kutna Hora beer, it is super tasty. It is so nice to have a beer as per Czech standards (with foam), Czech food (duck leg was like from my grandmother) and such a friendly service (you usually don't get that back home :-)). Excellent work guys!

Very small portions, it's hard to judge if the dish consists of a handful of salad mix and piece of fish. The plate taken away with the last bite - the lowest standard of service I have ever encountered

Nice place, great staff. Super fast service. We took one portion of pork knee for two, it was quite satisfying, we had enough. The check came out for 700 czk (1 knee with snacks and 5 glasses of beer). A good price for this place on Andel. I advise you to come here for dinner

Absolutely stunning location! And lovely interior as well. The food service was prompt, and the food itself was of incredibly high quality. The waitresses were polite and gave us the space to enjoy our meal. My only complaint was that it was incredibly warm in the restaurant, due to the powerful heaters, however had I not been wearing a jumper, it may have been more temperate.

An amazing, must-go restaurant! The interior is incredible, and the food is even better. Great menu, big portions and low prices, a real gem in London. A huge shout-out to Veronica, who took very good care of us and looked after our massive table. Every restaurant should have a host who cares so much. Thank you, we will be back.

Magnificent goulash for a reasonable price. Did not taste anything like this before. The beer was also alright, although the beer is alright in the whole Prague :D

Brilliant food! Sublime goulash, the Czech plate and duck confit were also great. Nice homemade lemonade.Also good prices for what's served.Would definetly recommend

Excellent range of real Czech beers, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Not too busy, even during happy hour on the Thursday before Easter.If you like lager, you must visit Pivo.
