Absolutely shocking repair work done to potholes they just lob some tarmac in lightly stamp on it and leave. These usually last a month or so. They need to be cut out and done properly and sealant put round the edges to stop them getting worse. Gotto be one of the most useless councils ever!

Oxfordshire Countryside Service's maintenance of public footpaths is great if you like fighting your way through nettles. Obviously they can't mow them all in a short space of time when all the growth happens, but it wouldn't take a genius to mow the paths to their full legal width (which is generally at least a metre) during the winter in preparedness, so that when the weeds start growing there is still space to get through.

Disgusting service and lack of support. We have specifically put our recycling waste out on the side of the street just like everyone else. By the end of the day, all the waste has been collected apart from ours. Due to this, we currently have no more space to store our recycling waste and we will not recycle anymore as of these next two weeks. Really disappointing and not sure why there is no alternative solution to this other than having to wait another 2 full weeks. We are paying for council tax and yet we are not even receiving this basic service.

Well obviously a council that closes its eyes to helping local farmers, but on the other hand abuses its power and tries to demonstrate how much more powerful it is compared to someone who genuinely tries to help, is not an institution that deserves to exist in its current form. I suggest a new election, and I also suggest that the farmers' voices are emphasized here.
