I visited here in October 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. Thus it was a great bit to explore and it felt like you were in the countryside rather than in one of the London Oyster zone for public transport.

Great walk for the dogs. Would help if there was better signage around the walking area.

Such a peaceful quiet place to go for a walk. A little off the beaten track and sadly I couldn't find a designated parking area. The woods however are beautiful and i will certainly be returning in future.

Very Remote place. There's a barrier and you have to pay. You MUST carry cash. it's tight too, so campers can't get in. You'll be lead to a car park by the beach with picnic tables and some swings. The beach is a few hundred yards away. It's s lovely endless" flat sandy beach.* We didn't explore the forest."
