A lovely selection of quality, modern instruments and a very comfortable purchasing experience. Ariel allowed us to really listen to the instruments in the open, neutral acoustics of the shop, without any pressure and without colouring our judgment by mentioning price or other details of each instrument. We then borrowed the selected instrument to make sure it was right before committing to the purchase. Overall a highly recommended Luthier.

When I entered rimmers there was a guy sat behind a desk facing the door, he looked at me as if I had walked into his house unannounced, liked I'd invaded his private space. He asked what I wanted, I said, erm, to look at a guitar, he asked which one, well I hadn't got close enough to see them. He explained that I'd be better shopping online instead of being here. So I guess it's not a shop anymore guys it's this fellas office. One star for rudeness.

It is early to tell as I have only been there today, but the workshop is beautiful, the man himself looked very reliable and competent, and Ifelt safe enough to trust him with an expensive instrument.You can't give a 1star review to this kind of business without an explanation. shame on google to allow these uncheked reviews and to expose worthy craftmen negatively.

Devon Strings Workshop
Amazing level of care and exceptional customer service. If you are looking for a stringed instrument, this is a fabulous place to go, whatever level you are playing at. Becky was very careful to show me everything that was in my budget, working upwards, with a saintly level of patience. I am so happy with my purchase: it is punching well above its weight. My teacher is impressed with its voice as it has been beautifully set up. My next upgrade will definitely be from here, with no need to 'shop around' Thank you.
