Weaving mill

My husband and I visited the shop today and did not expect to see the workshop where Roger was working on weaving a piece. We were instantly greeted by Roger who invited us in to take a look at the loom. He was very friendly and explained a lot about the process. He was very knowledgeable about the wool and weaving process and gladly answered all of our questions. We were even able to have a go at pedalling!Behind the workshop is their shop selling their products - scarves, throws, pillows, some clothing, etc... There was a nice assortment of items and colours. Something for everyone. The prices were very reasonable - buy here and not from one of the over-priced touristy shops! Here, you get quality, nice conversation and a product created on Skye.

So thrilled I found this company.I've now bought quite a few items from them but I particularly favour the iron on labels, and the shoe and property labels.The prices are so good for an entire sheet I think I spent a little over £5. Bought some for my two sons and my niece. Wasn't sure what to expect with washing them in both the washing machine and dishwasher but I've never had any fall off yet! Lucas has had his in his shoes since August and I've yet to replace them yet.Customer service was emailed and got back to me within about 36 hours which is so helpful and the delivery time is always within the week for me.When ordering I don't recommend the monotype corsiva" font as its a little harder to read for the younger kiddos but times new roman is a good one to opt for."

Scarf is perfect, but delivery was not. Should have arrived next day and didn't. I had to email and phone to get it sorted out, arrived over a week later, way past the birthday it was ordered for.

Recently purchased a Louet David 3 loom which I am delighted with.Chris was very helpful with advice and support and the loom was delivered very quickly.I am delighted with the loom itself - beautifully packaged with excellent paper and video instructions for assembling - I am so proud that I managed to put it together with only a tiny help at one stage from my husband!!Really looking forward to using it….Thank you Wonky Weaver!!
