Main Library
Very large library for use of students from the University of Manchester only. Situated over 5 floors, there are different zones which are colour coded to ease navigation. There are lots of group study rooms, available to book online, as well as hundreds or even thousands of individual study spaces, some which have plug qnd USB sockets. There are lots of maps and signs around to prevent one getting lost. Although it's a very old building and looks quite aged in places, it is very well maintained and clean.

It's one of the best place ever be in the campus. It's well equipped with all the studying material, from the books to the virtual machines. The study space is very silent and efficient for effective studying!

i genuinely don't understand how the students at the university of manchester are able to function. tell me why i was here at 1am on a sunday night and it was nearly impossible to find a table. half the kids there aren't even studying they were just ordering in mcdonalds and gabbing! if i went here as a full time student i think i would flunk out.

I love this place, facilities, and the staff. However, I find it very frustrating that there can be no such thing as a quiet place. Even though the library has a designated floor for silence, there are always rude people who break the rules and go unpunished.

Djanogly Learning Resource Centre
The spiral design makes this entire place so difficult to work in, people are constantly walking past and chatting, not to mention the building seems to amplify any sound inside it.
