Swimming facility

A work in progress. Fantastic group of volunteers are transforming this area. I hope they semi-restore the Lido to what is was! Friends of Heaton Park..... well done! Mammoth effort! The stone rectangle is an old footbath.

Clean and lovely gym.A good choice of facilities to use.Great staff, in particular Kerry B. Thanks to Kerry’s professionalism and kindness I happily referred two of my family members who also came back to me and said the same thing about Kerry. They have both since joined the gym.:)

Pros - offers adult lessons, staff are nice enough, prices are reasonableCons - the changing rooms are disgusting in a way that has nothing to do with the age of the building. The walls are stained, there are tons of drain flies, the floors are filthy, the shower drains back up leaving a pool of dirty water at your feet when you shower and there has been blood on the walls on two occasions. The hygiene is really unacceptable and this really needs to be addressed.

I'll start off with the positives, the pitches are level and very good size. The tap and drainage has been thought through and put in a very convenient place. The facilities use white company products which is a nice treat. There is also a great dog washing facility.As a couple coming away it's pretty clear this place is totally geared up for families. The facilities are good but could be cleaner. Rules don't particularly seem to be adhered too. For example kids on electric scooters and people charging there electric cars on pitch. Breakfast was very very poor and slow. The most annoying think for us was bird scarers going off at randoms times through out the whole week which terrified our dog. This will be the main reason we won't return.

Friendly staff, and nice pool.

Went there for a spa day. Very disappointed.Steam room had been out of order for a week and was going to be out of order for another 14-28 days! (we weren't told this at reception). The remaining facilities were overcrowded. So for long periods of time you couldn't get into the sauna or jacuzzi. Several tiles missing in the pool and jacuzzi. A lot of discolouration. Needs a refurb. Not recommended.

Very clean and beautifully maintained. Was very easy to make a booking and helpful with any questions I asked. Thanks for a great experience.

Came here on a taster spa session, managed to use the gym, sauna and swimming pool. Enjoyed it, hopefully will check it out soon again.

Misleading No Contracts" and "No obligations" membership campaign despite the existing strict contract obligations with no a month to month enrol or ending membership whenever you wish to and without any notices and penalties. AND IF YOU TRY TO LEAVE WITHOUT A NOTICE due to sudden illness or job loss
