My family have had direct support from Talk Ltd ever since it was founded! I can’t recommend them highly enough. My child has had 1:1 support at home and in school and has benefitted hugely from their input. The Attention Autism sessions/tasks were amazing to witness and so engaging for all! My child has worked with a few different therapists from Talk over the years and they have all been brilliant. I really felt that they all wanted what was a best for my child, which was refreshing and kept me informed and included every step of the way. They offer an assured high level of skill and are 100% reliable. I have every faith in them and their recommendations. They have written in-depth reports to support my child at school, liaised with his school directly and put things in place to help them support him throughout his school day too. I feel part of the ‘Talk’ family and cannot thank Rachel, Emily and Amie enough for their support and kindness along the way. A brilliant business. X

Quest'anno ho deciso di iscrivermi insieme a mio marito al corso sull'imitazione della dottoressa Anna Biavati.Questo per aiutare nostra figlia Anita a parlare - a due anni e mezzo aveva ahimè un vocabolario di circa una trentina di parole, onomatopee comprese.Per apprendere ed articolare suoni nuovi e quindi nuove parole pareva incontrare forti difficoltà e più il tempo passava e più manifestava i segni di una significativa forma di frustrazione.La sua capacità di comprensione del linguaggio parlato è sempre stata molto più avanzata rispetto alla capacità di produzione dello stesso, e questo forte divario non faceva che aumentare in lei la consapevolezza dei suoi limiti.Posta quotidianamente di fronte all'impossibilità di comunicare, sembrava diventare ogni giorno meno interessata alla comunicazione e devo dire che questa, insieme alla sua sofferenza, è una cosa che mi ha davvero spaventata e messa a dura prova.Già da qualche mese avevo iniziato a mettere in atto alcune strategie che vengono consigliate in casi come questo - come parlare più lentamente, utilizzare sempre le stesse parole - ma i progressi sperati tardavano ad arrivare.Il metodo della dottoressa Anna ha permesso a noi genitori in un certo senso di resettarci e ripartire da zero per costruire daccapo e questa volta nel modo giusto le fondamenta della comunicazione.Nostra figlia aveva bisogno di compiere tutta una serie di passaggi che suo tempo aveva fatto solo in parte, di allenare i muscoli fonatori, di provare e riprovare a combinare i suoni, senza avere paura di sbagliare, perché tutti sbagliamo e sbagliando si impara. Ma soprattutto doveva comprendere quanto sia importante la comunicazione, poiché, adesso che inizia a padroneggiarla, può non soltanto manifestare le sue necessità, ma chiedere informazioni o raccontare una storia.Ed è meraviglioso vedere l'entusiasmo nei suoi occhi quando capisce che ci è riuscita, che lei ha detto qualche cosa ed io l'ho capita e le ho risposto in maniera coerente.Purtroppo abbiamo potuto partecipare ad un numero limitato di masterclass, poiché quando ci siamo iscritti erano già iniziate, ma posso dire che è stato importante il confronto non solo con la dottoressa Anna, ma anche con gli altri genitori.Ascoltare i loro racconti, partecipare seppure indirettamente alle loro gioie e ai loro momenti di sconforto, è stato di grande supporto e di ispirazione.Perché è importante ricordare che nessuno di noi è un'isola ...La dottoressa Anna ha avuto anche questo merito: di farci sapere che noi , genitori di un bimbo parlatore tardivo, non siamo soli; altri genitori in tutto il mondo affrontano ogni giorno le nostre stesse sfide e difficoltà.Noi del corso, grazie alle masterclass, abbiamo potuto fare un pezzetto di strada insieme.Grazie dottoressa

I cannot thank Sarah enough for the incredible assessment and report she has written for my son. Sarah was so thorough and professional, and getting her feedback from the assessment and reading the report reaffirmed how much more support he really does need. Ali was a fantastic help with our sons speech and language. At 3 years 2 months, Oliver had a great noun vocabulary but wasn’t making sentences, hence we sort after assistance from a speech therapist. Oliver really engaged with Ali straight away, and they built up a fantastic rapport. After 5 sessions (including the initial assessment) Oliver is now using verbs, adjectives and pronouns. His behaviour has also improved as a consequence of his speech improvement and his understanding of language. He is improving daily and it is wonderful to see how far he has come in the last couple of months. The strategies and techniques taught by Ali at Help Me Talk, seem intuitive and basic but they work and it amazed us that using them really made such a difference. Thank you so much for everything. We would not hesitate on recommending.
