John and his helper moved a beautiful, old German concert piano down some pretty tricky stairs into my flat. The service couldn't have been better, the craic was second to none and the whole thing was done quickly and efficiently - guaranteed me a customer for life!

My daughter takes lessons here, she really enjoys it and looks forward to her Sunday lessons. She’s a shy person and Tom has been brilliant with her, making her feel comfortable also allowing me to sit in lessons with her to make her feel more at ease and as a bonus I get to listen to what she is learning, I am so impressed, he packs so much into a lesson and they have kept the price of lessons as cheap as they can, the price is more than reasonable. It seems important to them that their pupils are relaxed and having fun in their lesson. Jamie and Bob have been very helpful, they take the time to talk about the instruments and give you a bit of knowledge. They are an approachable bunch with a nice sense of humour and a joy to be around. They are always happy to help with any enquiries with a polite and easy going manner. I would definitely recommend lessons here, I would give them more stars if I could. Well done to the team, you’re all doing amazing, keep up the positive vibes.

Just want to thank the staff at PMT Newcastle especially Lewis. I bought a Taylor 314 last year which developed a slight problem. The staff were very helpful and eventually we sent it back to the Taylor factory in the Netherlands.On receiving the guitar back I was a bit paranoid about the sound problem returning. The staff at PMT Newcastle were again great. They spent over an hour with me while I and them played my guitar through a similar Pa to mine to make sure I was totally happy with the sound of the guitars and at the same time giving me a tutorial on my new t4s which I’d purchased there 2 weeks earlier.If you want excellent after service then I’d strongly recommend the staff at PMT Newcastle and also Taylor Guitars.

I do like this place. I think the staff could be more knowledgeable. I am very new and bought strings and other things from them and they are always happy to help but one time I asked for something and they did not know what I was talking about and got the impression they thought I was being stupid (Probably my imagination tbf). Other than that it is a great place if you want to buy a beginner guitar or other little nic nacs like string winder, tuners etc.Also about the person below saying they did not get greeted but someone else did. So what? They probably thought you knew what you were doing and so left you alone. When I go in I get asked sometimes if I need help and other times not. no biggie. But if I ask for help they always do.

Had good experiences a few years ago, but Sunday obviously isn't the day to go. Only saw two staff and despite standing around waiting for 25 mins had no luck getting any service. Shame, was there to buy.

I have spent a lot of money at PMT, but recently made a mistake purchasing an item because of misleading information, and they wouldn't refund me when I came back to return it. They didn't even listen to me. They gave me a gift card instead to use at their store. This is the last time I'm ever buying anything from PMT.

two day delivery service very impressed would come back again even if I pay a bit more than some other music stores available.

Thus branch are magnificent.Excellent customer service, wonderful advice and dealt with my queries in such a quick turnaround I'm stunned I didn't seek their help sooner.Could not recommend them more.
