The manager at this branch is shocking has no respect for public at all very rude didn’t want to help with anything just stood there and told me to do it my self whilst having a big grin on his face when questioned about not helping got threatened to have my account closed if I don’t hurry up and leave all for asking a question it has been reported avoid using this branch

One of the worst HSBC banks I've been in to. Staff are rude and do not acknowledge customers waiting in the queue. I also witnessed them talking badly amongst themselves about other customers. Very unprofessional.

Lost my bank card hence had my replacement sent to this branch as I was away on a business trip. Staff are helpful and made a big difference at a hectic time.No issues, collected my card, changed PIN , top marks and total stress free.

My daughter visited the bank at 11.00 today to pay in the money and it was counted wrongly, when questioned the amount the dark haired lady consultant corrected it very quickly(she looked info the drawer and quickly corrected the amount).Never heard the word 'sorry'.After 17 years I will be looking i into changing the bank as i lost trust.

Patchy customer service...good re. Savings/loan applications, but I heard nothing re. re-mortgaging enquiry. Beware of believing that the GCU will offer a more understanding approach to risk than commercial lenders. Unless you have an excellent credit rating (mine was good on Experian) do not apply for a car loan as you will be declined and your score will take a hefty knock. The 'appeal' is a nice GCU employee reiterating why you've been declined.

I visited the Slough branch on Saturday 9th Dec. 2023 to open an account and was attended by Thomas Htun, an excellent customer service provider. He handled my application quickly and efficiently, explaining every step during the process with patience and clarity. He also took the initiative to explain to me the different saving products I can benefit with my spare cash. Its staff like this than ensures customer loyalty in this digital age. The reason for my for my star his Thomas excellent service

Would give this branch 0 if that were possible. It was originally great- clean, helpful. Now it is dirty, the counter service is impossibly slow but because HSBC has only 3 locations in Central London with tellers, their clients are stuck dealing with this. It is actually depressing to go here. Avoid if you can.

Absolutely disgraceful customer services, made an appointment for today, arrived promptley only to be told they had no staff they had all rang in sick that morning. It was obvious no one had checked the diary for the days appointments so they could be cancelled, worst bank in Oldham.
