This review is a long time coming and way too late! Just need to say how awesome this business is, got me out of a huge pickle a few days out from a 8 week holiday when I ran over my prescription sunnies. Andy came through big time for me and got me a new set in no time at all, just in time for the trip. Really great to have that personal understanding that makes the difference. Cheers.

So much better than the high street chain experience. The friendly and highly capable staff here have been carrying for my family's eyesight for the past few years and, I don't foresee anything that would get me to change that.(That really wasn't meant as a pun.)

My Viking 8x42 monocular has been perfect for bird watching in the garden and for longer views during walks with my ramblers group. Compact and easy to use together with no need to take my glasses off to use, it is ideal. When a fault occurred not covered in the guarantee it was repaired, with me only having to pay postage, and returned in excellent condition. Excellent product, excellent service.

Very disappointed. Sent a pair of titanium rimless spectacles for repair on 1 May 2017. The bridge had snapped and as it only consisted of a small bar connecting the two lenses and the nose clips I had expected them to replace it. Instead there was an obvious weld/adhesive repair carried out to the existing bridge. Total cost, including £4.99 for next day shipping was £19.98.Whilst on holiday abroad in August 2017 they snapped where the repair had been carried out but fortunately I had taken a spare pair. I have now returned them to the opticians where I brought them from and they are going to replace the whole bridge for £25. I wish that I had done this in the first place.

I printed some disposable pictures and they came out fantastic! Amazing quality of paper and they were packaged with great care! Plus they also came in a CD!Very friendly people too :)

Very helpful and friendly staff. I went in for contact lenses as they had appointments available much earlier than the other big eyewear companies in Colchester. Very glad I did as they couldn't have provided a better service. The optician was very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about my particular complex prescription. The reception staff were also very friendly and remembered my name on subsequent visits providing a very personalised service. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I fell over and my new glasses yet again. I went to LG and Mo the manager fitted my lenses into a different new frame for £20 he then repaired my old reading specs for free..brilliant.The following is my old review of a year ago with the same standard of great service.I broke my glasses again so LG fitted my current lenses into a new frame for £20.I then gave them my new prescription and 8 days later I got my new glasses at a brilliant price. As an added bonus I am being told that my new frame looks really good.
