Chateau Radical is an uber cool campervan conversion for hire in Exeter, South West UK. This eco-friendly camper has been hand built using reclaimed and upcycled materials to create a one of a kind camper with totally unique style and design. The living area has been divided into a front seating and eating area where you will also find lots of storage over the cab. The middle of Chateau Radical hosts the double bench seats which convert into a double bed at night. The rear sofa seat faces the incredible kitchen and you can sit with the back doors open to take in the views. The kitchen has been set up so you can use it with the doors closed inside, or give yourself an al fresco vibe by standing to cook outside! We absolutely love this design, and the fact that the kitchen is also fully equipped with a fridge to chill your beer as you take in a magnificent beach sunset just sounds like heaven! Chateau Radical has been crafted with materials such as live edge redwood worktops, upcycled French wine boxes, oak veneer flooring, and excess insulation from a building project that otherwise would have gone to waste. The owners used Shou Sugi Ban (the Japanese technique of waterproofing wood by burning it) on the tongue and groove ceiling, one of the side walls and the trim work around the bed. The curtain rails and surfboard racks are custom designs using copper pipe. These materials and techniques have come together to form a beautiful camper that feels really high quality and has been cleverly thought out for storage and versatile living.
