Middle Eastern restaurant

Had a lovely meal, staff were very attentive, it did take quite a while for the food to come but when it did it was delicious. Need to sort heating out, it was very cold in there, not sure if there was a problem with it.

Been coming here for many many years and the food is consistently good. This is my go to place for persian food. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very generous portions too. Always leave here feeling full!

Some of the best food I have tasted! Everything is so fresh and delicious. It was quiet for a Friday evening so I hope more people visit because it is deserved. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

One of the best Shawarma I have in Scotland specially Edinburgh, must try at high street Edinburgh near the Castle.

It is a beautiful restaurant just behind Regent Street. Beautifully crafted dishes. All are small in size, so you can try many different dishes. And these flavour bombs are more than worth it.

What a great find after being in London for the first time. Near our stay around the corner. The food was delicious, staff friendly and attentive, and atmosphere clean and efficient. Only drawback was it was loud. Thank you staff.

Came here on a whim... pleasantly suprised. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday around 7pm. The service was good... food came at a good pace. The flavours of the food were wonderful and the meat was nicely cooked. Recommend you give it try. Loved the aubergine dish.

I visited about a month ago for dinner. Food was delicious, service was brilliant and the prices were reasonable. I had the lamb kafta with rice and it’s even tastier than it looks! I would absolutely recommend.

Nice little hidden restaurant.Food was ok, I had the moussaka with fries, it was nothing really special.The service was ok, not particularly attentive or helpful when asking for the bill.There was No free parking nearby, which was frustrating.Overall it was ok, nothing too special, I probably wouldn’t come back again.

A modern, upbeat Israeli inspired restaurant with food to share for the table. This sister restaurant of Bala Baya has a good selection drinks and entree/smaller plates. We ordered one cocktail and mocktail and unfortunately found both on the sugary side and certainly on the pricier side (£13 and £8 respectively). Drinks are arguably better at Bala Baya but the food is definitely at their sisters level. For food, we had hummus, aubergine mess, broccoli and fried squid. The highlight was the 14karat hummus, a sweeter than usual hummus dish with a lovely carrot flavour and carrot bits laced throughout. Hummus was silky smooth. Another highlight was the aubergine mess with sweet lychee and rose. Again, on the sweeter side but was a good option to balance out the beef hummus which we found quite heavy and salty. We also enjoyed the squid but found the broccoli a bit too sweet with the glazed figs. The cigar was delicious for dessert and highly recommended. It came with a bitter dark chocolate coating and passionfruit as well as a chocolate crumb. The waiters also made a special effort with our birthday celebration and were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a wonderful experience. Perfect for couples, celebrations or a special night out.
