Beautiful mosque with wudhu and prayer facilities for both men and women. Little cafe and restaurant down below too.

Always love photographing weddings here, the hallways and rooms are all so beautiful and filled with incredible natural light. This definitely feels an iconic place to get married.

I recently had my registration here and I can gladly say that I had the most wonderful experience. I have been here once before whilst giving my notice of marriage a month ago and again for my registration of marriage a few days ago. Both times I have an a positive experience. The lady who married us was fantastic as well as the lady who assisted us during the registration. I've have some appalling experience in other boroughs when I was witnesses to my friends marriages and I am glad I got married in my very own borough and would highly recommend this place.

Citizenship ceremony - great experience. I chose it as the public times were not available. However am VERY GLAD I did so. Very friendly, professional and the lady made my ceremony feel very special. I felt welcome and she added a personal touch to it.

Eamonn officiated our wedding at La Mon this October and we couldn’t have imagined anyone else there that day. Calm, reassuring, warm and steady: he guided us and our ceremony from start to finish with ease, made us laugh (and also tear up with his beautiful words!). Everyone commented on how wonderful he was, and I would recommend him to anyone. His communication from the moment I first enquired was amazing - he kept us right with dates and reminders to send off documents and apply for our wedding schedule! He made everything so easy, and totally built the ceremony around us and how we wanted our love to be expressed. He also provided us with templates to build our ceremony around, as we didn’t have a clue where to start or how a ceremony could/should be structured. He also discussed less traditional options with me such as hand fasting, sand ceremony, sipping wine/whiskey and then storing a bottle to be drank on a special anniversary, warming of the rings… the list goes on.We loved how respectful he and the Spiritual Church are of all faiths and beliefs; allowing us to include any prayer or reading we wanted (flexibility we wouldn’t have had with a registrar from the council or with a humanist), and truly embraced what was important to us. Our day was amazing from start to finish but my husband and I have both agreed our favourite part was 100% the ceremony - it’s what a wedding is truly about, pledging yourselves to one another. Thank you, Eamonn, for giving us the most amazing gift - a service that was completely crafted around us.

We recently married at Preston registry office. From start to finish the staff at Bow Lane made our day very special. Both registrars were lovely, but in our case Christine Lee had the role of celebrant - and we couldn't have asked for more. Her sincere and genuine approach was felt by the entire party who are still commenting on her warm and heartfelt words.Only minor down side was the receptionist who can only be described as miserable when we registered our arrival.

Really disappointed by the service offered here. For our wedding we used their online forms to try and book an appointment, this did not work and left us close to missing the required deadlines to be married. The process involves a telephone interview and then a face-to-face meeting the following day which is annoying if you have job that can't be interrupted whenever they feel like calling. We're now trying to register a birth for which I booked a phone call for 1 hour and 15 minutes ago, still haven't heard from them. Still a two meeting process.
