Perfect location for getting to the aj bell world traithlon series. Although above a pub, a good night's sleep was had each night we stayed. My dog was very happy to be with us also.

The bedroom was clean - it’s an old hotel and the furnishings were a little tired. However, I did appreciate that the heating had been turned on and the light was on when I arrived (helpful when arriving late) Breakfast was included with a lot of choice about the type of food required. I had poached eggs which were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful.

George Hotel, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent
We paid £60 a night (Friday/Saturday) at the end of July. A lovely lady (Brittany?) booked us in a few months ago and saved our receipt. When we got there a nice lady {Trina) booked us in officially, it was her 1st day alone after just starting. She couldn't have been nicer, told us where our room was and a few rules then we went to our room, having seen the reviews we were a bit wary but the room was lovely, basic , but really nice. It was clean, plenty of towels, nice big bathroom, hot water. Everything we needed. There was a TV but we never watched it so I can't comment on it. Observation. There was no telephone in the room, which we found unusual, but we have a mobile each so didn't need it.From what we saw of the hotel a lick if paint wouldn't go a miss and new carpets, as it looks a bit tired" but you can see what a beauty it was and hopefully could be again. The main door is shut early on in the evening and you just ring the bell and someone comes.I think we met 3 reception ladies and the gentleman who works the evening. ALL were pleasant and friendly."

OYO Fab Guest House
The hotel was nice but in the first room the TV did not work, then they changed the room to a very elegant one but in reality the cleaning of the rooms could be improved.

AOS SÍ LODGES
Fabulous cottage/lodge. The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. This is a beautiful, peaceful lodge with a massive, super comfortable bed, roll top bath, really cozy. Fab location, mountains all around and a loch to the front. Very dog friendly. You are just a few mins drive from Glencoe. Would recommend and would stay again.

OYO Devine Beach Hotel, Westcliff Southend-On-Sea
Got to the hotel with the invalid room code Entered the room and was occupied by someone else Was given another room and soon after found that also was booked for someone else. Moved again and on my second morning after already booked for three nights not two I was informed that I was supposed to be checking out incorrectly. There’s two toilets and showers that serve almost thirty rooms Feels like a halfway house after leaving prison or something. Not a great hotel

OYO London Guest House
Small but adequately sized room which was spotlessly clean. The bed was large and comfortable and the room had plenty of enclosed storage space (wardrobe, chests of drawers etc.). A small transom window could be opened which supplied some ventilation, but the main casement window was a sealed unit and could not be opened. There was no work table or chair, but I pressed one of the bedside chests of drawers into service and sat on the bed. The TV was quite small but adequate for the room size and all channels worked. there were a large number of power outlets in the room, and these were sensibly located. The room was quiet even though it overlooked the street (the street itself was pretty quiet). The room was equpped with both an electric fan for cooling and an electric convector heater for colder weather. The bathroom was good, with no major shortcomings, but nothing outstanding either. The hotel is located a few hundred yards from the Acton Mainline Station (Elizabeth line), but is a long way from any other tube station, so getting to places such as the museums at South Kensington or most London tourist spots will involve changing trains at Paddington. I had a problem on arrival as the remote control for the TV was missing (needed to switch it on), but instantly I reported it, the whole TV was replaced with one which had a remote; outstanding service! But....... The room was quite hot at night. The supplied fan helped somewhat, but it was still too warm to sleep IN the bed (I slept ON it wearing just pyjama bottoms). There was no decaffeinated coffee supplied in the room, and none was available from reception.

OYO Plymouth Central Hotel
I was in Plymouth recently and as a last minute booking, OYO was the only option without breaking up my stay over 2 hotels so opted for it.The hotel is / was clearly some form of office block or work environment which has been hastily readied into accommodation. My room slept 5, with 2 quick assemble camp beds; one up against the 'window'.The window was actually a misted glass panel that looked into another hallway and didn't open. There was also no air conditioning when I stayed so the room was stuffy and hot. Boiling hot. When mentioned at reception they gave me a fan and suggested they'd look into changing rooms - to no avail. The whole place is humid and smells like it too.Air con is to be fitted post-visit according to the staff on reception. I must add that all the staff were incredibly polite to me - but there were a few signs up suggesting they may not have been treated as politely back. The room itself was clean enough to pass, although the fan was covered in dust, which I swapped. The bathroom was nice enough - hastily thrown together like the rest of the building. The toilet seat didn't fit, the mirror was meant to be in the wall, the light didn't turn off while the extraction fan didn't turn on. The double bed was two singles placed side by side that slipped apart in the night. To the best of my knowledge, no housekeeping cleaned the room during my 5 night stay as the bin / bedding was left.I had to return to reception on all but one return to the room as the key wouldn't allow me access to my room - again, all seemed hastily prepared. There was no safe in the room too. This combined lead me to keep personal belongings on me at all times.Upon my arrival at the front desk an older lady was questioning the hotels use as shelter for those seeking homes - which was denied by the staff. This is clearly the case as there are personal belongings and people loitering in the communal areas and is confirmed in the other reviews of this hotel.I must stress I have no issue with this at all; I'm aware people need accommodation and I'm glad they've somewhere warm to sleep that meets basic levels of living standards opposed to on sofas or on streets. Genuine credit to OYO for that. However I do wish this was specified on the booking / website as this did come with its own 'issues'.The hotel is loud during the night and the early hours. Conversations across hallways and music playing, TVs blaring 24/7. Children / young people up very early in the morning. Much more than a usual hotel. There's clearly a sound-proofing issue that needs addressing and means getting quality sleep is near impossible. There is also a constant smell of weed, especially on the first floor and the aforementioned personal belongings in communal areas and people loitering outside of their rooms.I assume the price per night is high so that OYO can charge the same rate to the council / charities. Although apparently the rate is cheaper if you book at the hotel opposed to online.I'm not sure I got value for money on my stay and wouldn't recommend. All hastily thrown together, too loud and not up to the price point paid.

OYO Townhouse New England, London Victoria
Very nice place to stay. Location can’t be beat! Comfy beds. Basic rooms but that was all we needed check in very late and check out is early. Not always someone at front desk. This was tricky as they were holding our bags. We came back to get and thought we may not get in. All was fine. Love the Victoria location
