Pen Museum
Phenomenal, so interesting, informative . With interactive ability, a film show, interviews with previous workers. You're able to use the original machines and make your own nib. Truly enjoyed it

Canolfan Thomas Telford Centre
A well thought out centre for learning. I like the evening lectures on a variety of subjects that are always well presented by expert speakers. A very welcoming and knowledgeable staff in the day for info on the Bridge and locality.

Milestones Museum
This museum was hands down the best museum I have ever been to. It does not look like much from the outside but once you are inside and onto the streets you are taken back to the 1940There is a pub, cafe, sweet shop and even a place to buy your 30s toysWell worth a visit

Clifton Park Museum
Lovely place to visit, loads to do to fill a day. The museum is very good, with lots of interesting local history elements. The little funfair can get a bit overcrowded, but is enjoyable. The summer splash pad is a fun way to keep the kids cool. And the various play areas are excellent.

D-Day Centre & WW2 Museum - Portland, Dorset
This is probably the best interactive WW2 museum that you'll ever find! It's an amazing collection of weaponry, machinery, uniform, and local history, alongside a wealth of knowledge from its staff; It's definitely worth a visit.

National Civil War Centre - Newark Museum
Good for the kids, lots for them to do. There was a guy outside dressed up in civil war uniform who was very chatty about the civil war. I enjoyed the history of Newark part in the museum more than the civil war bits.
