Just back from a 3 night stay at The Attic" in Portpatrick

I had the pleasure of staying on both of the boats available and both are absolutely gorgeous. So comfortable, and unique, without losing the atmosphere of being on the water. The staff were brilliant and went above and beyond to help me plan out my trip and answer all my questions about the boats, and even had fishing lines for the kids! Definitely will come again, was a really unique and fun experience

Ok place for a hostel. Some matresses were good, some not. Major issue may be the other people staying here, if they are polite and quiet or not.

Liked the area nice working harbor with walk to Neptune's steps. Train station on site so you can watch the Jacobite express passing daily.

I booked a studio apartment here for my partner's 30th birthday and I will start with the positives;*Very comfortable bed and pillows.*Good quality television.* Nice rainfall shower.Some negatives were;*No hand soap at the sink in the bathroom.*No sink in the kitchen area so cups and glasses had to be washed in the bathroom(?!)*Very modern radiator but it was not powerful enough for the size of the room.*We did stay on a Friday night, but loud music and rowdy club goers on the street outside resulted in poor quality sleep.It was disappointing given the apartment is advertised as luxurious, yet bare minimums had been missed. Certainly not worth the money I had paid for the room; I expected a higher standard for the price.

Really great property! Everything was clean and the rooms were really spacious. The garden area was lovely, a real sun trap. The lounge is quite small but there is plenty of room to hang out in the kitchen and garden.

Super one bed apartment, some steps to get into property but they were fine. Once inside the two door unit all was level going. Well equipped (washing up liquid, emergency tea and coffee, shampoo, conditioner and body gel provided) and laid out (kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom). I was very happy there. Parking in the side street was painless and peaceful too. It was perfect for one person, but would be wonderful for two to share. Great location. Walking distance to a selection of local Bakers. Do make sure to visit Binns of Saltaire for their extraordinary pre-made food and butchers. Lots of interesting local pubs too!

Fantastic place to stay, shower, toilet, warm and cosy, perfect place for two, owner is very helpful and friendly.

This is a holiday Park with static caravans, touring vans and tents. Site has club house which is mainly open through the school holidays and generally Friday and Saturday through the season. Also has two children's play areas.

Our top priorities when looking for a rented property is a warm, clean house.Watch Hill was spotless and warm & cosy throughout.Bonus was the layout of the house was perfect for a very large family group and Emilie was very helpful when we had queries….even letting us arrive early as the property had no bookings prior to our stay.Watch Hill has a large, well equipped kitchen, making life very easy if one is doing self catering for a large group.A very enjoyable stay for our family group of 14 adults & children
