Hiking guide

A fantastic experience. My daughter and I did coastering on one day, then sea kayaking on the following day. Both of us loved it, and the instructor Andy was an excellent and patient guide.

Had a wonderful guided walk with Tom up Rangers path on 30th May. Very informative, great fun, and made sure we were safe and well looked after the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. Good communication from booking, a couple of days before, and sending through of photos afterwards. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

We had an amazing afternoon with Steven on the water kayaking. He showed us all the secrets and different plants of the islands in the bay and we enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day special of a fizz and chocolate picnic, with Steven kindly forgiving us that we were none of us mothers. Everything was very relaxed and could not recommend more

After completing day one of kayaking skills with Awaken Adventures I can honestly say it was the best desicion to sign up. Lots of learning and lots of fun was had by all over a well structured day. The professional quality and witty delivery of Instructor Stephen Bell, ensured a safe and fun filled day throughout.I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to venture into kayaking. The basic skills acquired in paddling such as, techniques, self rescue and keeping each other safe on the water is invaluable.The course is well suited to all levels of ability and helps to build confidence with anyone who may be nervous or a little unsure in the water.Not only did our group learn lots of essential skills, we also had a rare opportunity to admire some of the lesser spotted wildlife in the local area.A stunning choice of venue, great instruction and great fun. Looking forward to what the following two days bring......

Climbed Errigal this morning! Winter solstice! Couldn’t see a thing at the top but my goodness do I feel alive and kicking, The whole experience of booking, the attention to detail in instructions and in the morning itself was fantastic, All three guides were courteous, professional and fun! A great sunset/moon walk today on Errigal. So beautiful. Thanks so much Stephen and group, for the guidance, great company and the much needed ginger tea and gloves! I hope to be back.

We went on an incredible sunset/full moon hike to the summit of Mount Errigal with Awaken Adventures. Stephen was a fantastic guide. Hugely knowledgeable about the geography and folk lore of the surrounding area, his enthusiasm is contagious. He also made sure that everyone in our group had the appropriate clothing and equipment, and he made sure that we went at a pace suitable for the entire group. I'd definitely recommend Awaken Adventures and just wish we lived closer so that we could go on some of the other excursions!

Really good experience. Our family of 5 went coasteering with Ginge the instructor. He was great, adapting well to the different confidence/ability levels. We all felt the morning was the highlight of our holiday.

Absolutely loved the hike with Andy and his hound. (My dog was also welcome)The views were outstanding with no pressure on the pace of walk.He shared fantastic facts about the local history and some wonderful things about nature.Would highly recommend.Can't wait to book another trip.Thank you
