Glenbrittle Campsite & Cafe
A lovely campsite on the beach edge. Pick your own pitch so we had one right by the water and could hear the waves crashing all night. It's a large site with plenty of space. Really clean facilities. The cafe has good coffee and freshly baked pastries. The staff we encountered were incredibly helpful. Very dog friendly and ours enjoyed a run on the beach too.

Orchid Lakes
Wasn't what I thought it was gonna be, choked with weed & after 6 hours of looking for a clear spot I almost gave up! Was told it was because weed had been cut recently & was covering clear spots! Mate lost 2 fish to being snagged in weed! When we first walked around people said they had lost fish to the weed! Very close to a noisy road. We won't be returning.

Royalty Fishery
Great historic fishery. Well managed and always the possibility of a great catch. It's compact, bursting with features and well managed. A true mixed water I had a great day targeting some visible chub by the railway bridge - with some success ! Will visit again.

Church Paddock Lake
A little bit of heaven, lovely small lake, gives you the chance to relax , catch nice fish. You an also enjoy the ambience , of the seating area overlooking the lake enjoy a glass of wine, or coffee. When I got there , guidance was being given to young and up coming fisherman. A prefect place for a day out, when school has broken up. Cost , it is one of the best priced lakes around Hampshire. They also smoke their own fish, so you can buy some for that special supper.

Mill Farm Trout Lakes
Two small lakes. Mainly rainbows with small population of browns. Currently £25 for two fish limit / 5hours fishing. Current rules during covid-19 finish at 6.00pm. Sure this will change soon, for evening rise. Price currently is high but just about works for me, as I am local. Fish quality excellent, latest visit 5.5lb and 3.5lb very lively excellent fight. Lost two good fish prior to catching. Not easy and will require a reasonable amount of finesse to catch. Friendly welcome and tips from owners, I think, on arrival.

Fantastic fishery , owners couldn't do enough for us .despite the cafe being shut made us sandwiches from home when they dident have to . Grounds well kept ànd some fantastic fish in the lake a real hidden gem
