Nice and quiet place for fishing

Fantastic campsite with brilliant family owners; I don’t know how they do it with so many kids, one of whom is a teeny baby. Lovely setup, good fridges, showers, toilets, washing up facilities, excellent maintenance, and loads and loads of space. Some pitches are literally on their own surrounded by meadow. Good fishing lakes, son caught some smallish fish very easily. Will definitely be back. Farm animals a bonus.

This is the perfect getaway very nice hosts amazing location and extremely cosy! Mi highly recommend this to anyone travelling around Northern Ireland. It's hard to find better value for money.

We returned to this site recently after first visiting ten years previously and really enjoying it. It had changed quite a lot. There are now toilets in the paddock fields and washing up facilities although no hot water for washing up. Neither was there hot water in in showers. My husband and I both had to have cold showers. There was no lighting in some of the toilets either. At least I could not find a light switch at all, so had to use it in the pitch black as no windows either. I found one member of staff to be quite officious on a few occasions. Not the attitude we usually experience from people providing holidays. The site was fairly busy when we arrived (no complaint there) so it’s obviously popular. I did also encounter a puddle of vomit on my way to the toilet one morning which was unpleasant, but maybe there hadn’t been time to clear it up. However I won’t be returning there and it’s not somewhere I would recommend to friends or family. This was the tenth campsite we’ve used this year but the worst value for money.The countryside is lovely and the lake is pretty. The shop is handy, but overall I was a bit disappointed really.

So peaceful, no kids, no dogs barking, no traffic. Perfect.Paul was so helpful, he stayed until 8 o'clock on our first night sorting out the TV. Second day my hubby was admitted to hospital and Paul gave us a bottle of wine.The hot tub was amazing, but I couldn't fit it in the car to bring home!! Lodge was very clean and welcoming and so cosy. And the fishing was good too. Definitely will be returning. Thanks Paul. Xx

Just returned from a long weekend here, and it was absolutely amazing. First of all, the hosts Kelly and Matt are just amazing, and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. We met their daughter Bella who spent lots of time talking to our daughter and showing her round.The little shop, and the shower blocks are well maintained, as is the grounds, and everything is clean and tidy.We stayed in one of the yurts, which was spacious and clean, and we got a great night's sleep every night. The fire pit and wood burner kept us toasty.We didn't have much luck on the fishing, but that only means another trip down to sit and do nothing for 3 days.Couldn't fault the site, or the hosts and we'll definitely be back!

Have not fished this venue for 6 years but I must say it is excellent. I camped last time I went for 7 days and found the owner and the staff very sociable and helpful. I was netting around 60lb to my best day of 174lb of fish. I do not know if they still do a breakfast here but if they do then you must try it. A very good meal

A beautiful, peaceful place. Fishing onsite. Well kept grounds. Spotless caravan right next to the lake. Amazing views. Dave and Lynne were very helpful. Nothing too much trouble for them.Booked again for next year.

Wonderfully relaxing holiday in self catering lodge. Really enjoyed the fishing, and visiting the town.
