Jar - Zero Waste Shopping, Plymouth
A rare 'weigh your own' shop that do a lot of organic foods such as nuts & seeds, flour, cereals, etc they also have a small bakery section selling organic bread, pastries.Prices can be a little higher than you'd expect, but for quality & organic while being able to grab what you need is great..The shop is nestled out the way somewhat, but a must visit at least once as you maybe surprised. Staff are very welcoming and polite which makes the visit relaxing and enjoyable.

Rickard Lanes
An absolute gem of a store. They stock a wide range of low sugar, wheat free products, & if you're not keen on artificial additives or just want to try a natural remedy or even just asking for some advice they're well worth a try.

Jenkins Milk Machine
A milkshake (sometimes called a shake in the United States) is a sweet drink made by blending milk, ice cream, and flavorings or sweeteners such as butterscotch, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, fruit syrup, or whole fruit into a thick, sweet, cold mixture. It may also be made using other types of milk such as almond milk, coconut milk, or soy milk.A strawberry milkshake topped with a strawberryAlternative namesThick shake, frappe, cabinetTypeBeveragePlace of originUnited StatesMain ingredientsMilk, ice cream, and flavorings or sweetenersMilkshakes originated in the United States around the turn of the 20th century, and grew in popularity following the introduction of electric blenders in the subsequent two decades. They became a common part of youth popular culture, as ice cream shops were a culturally acceptable meeting place for youth, and milkshakes became symbolic of the innocence of youth.Full-service restaurants, ice cream shops, soda fountains, and diners usually prepare the shake in a specialized mixer known as a milkshake machine. At home, a blender is more commonly used. Milkshakes may be made from any flavor of ice cream; additional flavorings, such as chocolate syrup, malt syrup, or malted milk powder, are often added prior to mixing. Many fast food outlets do not make shakes from the individual ingredients; rather, they use automatic milkshake machines which freeze and serve a pre-made milkshake mixture consisting of milk, a sweetened flavoring agent, and a thickening agent. These are similar to soft-serve ice cream machines, but keep the shake at a drinkable consistency.Terminology around the distinction between a milkshake that uses ice cream and other forms of flavored milk varies regionally. An ice cream-based milkshake may be called a thick shake to distinguish it. In parts of New England and eastern Canada, the name frappe (/fræp/ FRAP) is used.[1][2] Rhode Island residents sometimes refer to milkshakes as cabinets".[3] A milkshake containing malted milk powder is sometimes called a malt. The term concrete is used for particularly thick milkshakes that do not spill when turned upside down

Pete's Shop: Wholefoods, Homebrew, Household
Went in to buy some home brew stuff and had a great chat with the guy behind the counter about brewing, super friendly and really helpful. They have a great range of brewing kits for all types and have a few all-grain ingredients suitable for a good bitter (marris otter, crystal malt and fuggles). If you need anything special they said they would be able to have a look and get it in as well.

Asian Food Supermarket
Recently taken to BIR style cooking as a hobby so 1st time visit. They appear to have a superb range of ingredients. Prices for packet spices are a fraction of the price you pay in supermarkets per 100g. If you use a lot of spices check them out. Not sure how their prices compare to other similar stores as I haven’t been to any yet. Watch this space.

Grow Wild Organics
A wonderful farmshop with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. This is a real must if you are in the area or even further afield! The produce is varied, seasonal, and very local as it is from the farm where the farmshop is, and of superb quality and taste. There is also a fantastic selection of organic groceries, eggs, cleaning products, milk, cheese, meat, etc. The staff are truly passionate about the farm and you will be warmly welcomed from the minute you walk into the shop. You will not be disappointed!
