District Information

In 2016, Pinellas County Schools is the seventh-largest district in the state of Florida and the 26th-largest district in the nation with more than 101,000 students. Pinellas County Schools is now the largest employer in Pinellas County, with more than 16,000 full- and part-time staff members.

The mission of the Pinellas County Dual Language program is to promote highest student achievement, English and Spanish language development and cross-cultural understanding by teaching language skills through content area instruction to enable students to succeed in a culturally diverse world.
