District Information

The School District of Palm Beach County is the 10th largest in the nation and the fifth largest in the State of Florida serving more than 193,000 students who speak 146 languages and dialects. The Palm Beach School District envisions a dynamic collaborative multi‐cultural community, where education and lifelong learning are valued and supported and all learners reach their highest potential and succeed in the global economy. Palm Beach School District is “A”-rated and has the highest number of District-operated “A” schools when compared with other larger urban school districts.

Gove Elementary School is located in rural Palm Beach County in Belle Glade, Florida. The school opened in 1964 and was named after Glades pioneer and longtime educator, Mrs. Genevieve Gove.  In 1997 Gove gained its Dual Language Magnet Status, the first in Palm Beach County School District.
