Very unprofessional and a bit ignorant if I'm honest. I think this is one of the many reasons why there are not that many people of colour putting themselves forward for this type of work in the industry. It feels like the institutionalised discrimination even runs through the make-believe part of the industry.

Trimbles Fancy Dress Shop
Just popped into Trimbles for last minute fancy dress stuff. The older lady that served me, well can i just say it was a throw back to the good old days. Customer service was first class. She was polite, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Didnt try to sell me anything and was more than helpful. Prices are more than reasonable. It was a pleasure, and I have no hesitation in recommending Trimbles to anyone going to a fancy dress party. Five stars and I will definitely be using them again.
