Childrens Book Shop

Lovely shop with a great selection of kids' books, our favourite for miles around. Great for birthday presents for kids - yours and everyone else's.

Smyth's Toy Store is located in Dundalk Retail Park, along the Inner Relief Road, or the bypass as it is known locally. It is very easy to find, and there is an abundance of car parking space. Like most Smyth stores, it is well stocked with the latest toys, games and Gizmo's, but I have on a number of occasions, found that when a particular toy is out of stock, it can take quite some time before it is in-stock again. I have found however, that on the majority of visits here, the staff have been very helpful, and in some instances, extremely helpful. However, I have also found that during busy periods, the store seems under staffed. All in all, it's the biggest toy store in Dundalk, and I will continue to use it.

Literally the best toy shop in London! Pingo Pongo is a treasure trove for children and has an incredible selection of toys at every price point for all ages. Nikki, is so knowledgeable and helpful. She has curated a range of toys that are not only educational and unique but capture children’s imagination and creativity and many of the toys are wooden and eco friendly. I now only go to Pingo Pongo to purchase toys!

Placed an order on a working day Thursday and paid £8.99 for delivery to be delivered between 1-2 working days and it’s been a week no delivery, no reply to phone calls, no reply to emails.This is worst management for good quality clothes. Will never order from here anymore.Order number - J50868I will definitely ask for a refund and iam sure it will be a struggle with returns at my cost.

Friendly child focused book shop, we visited as a children's author we liked was appearing at the Shop.For a small fee (£14) we attended the reading, received a copy of the authors book, and there was a buffet set out for the children.Really nice experience and will look out for similar events.

This was our biggest lockdown find - a real treasure. My daughter adores the worksheets and the books (of course!). Each month, there are new activities bespoke to the child’s level and often little treats that come as surprises (the bear cookie cutter and recipe was one of the favourites). Best of all, the box comes in the post addressed to the child - it’s an exciting delivery and one which we look forward to each month. Highly recommend the Bear Can Read!

Is it permanently closed?

Wonderful service at this lovely local bookstore.Zero pressure however I was keen for some recommendations and received honestly the best service I have had in any store... ever! Ended up getting 2 gifts and something for myself. One specific item I was after was out of stock but could be ordered in which is fantastic.Ashamed to say my first time here but by no means my last!P.S. check out their social media for updates!

I love this little book shop. They have a great stock and order in anything you want and it always arrives really quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have some nice cards and gifts too
