Uyghur cuisine restaurant

The food is delicious and very nice. Service is great and quick. Will definitely recommend. Amazing halal Chinese cuisine.

I used to be a very loyal customer who came frequently but we had an extremely unpleasant dining experience today.My friends and I (a party of six) sat down and waited for almost 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. My partner asked for a jar of water for five times.After that, it was another long wait for our food to arrive, much longer than usual. The big pot chicken (大盘鸡）tasted so different from previous times with weird spices (we suspect it came from too many anises).After almost an hour, one of our dishes (lamb rice) still did not arrive. We politely asked the staff and told them we would not want it anymore if it is still not made. The staff said it is on the way. It was another extremely long wait until we finally could not stand it and asked for the bill - the lamb rice never came, even thought it would take less than half an hour previously.We were very disappointed and asked to speak with the manager, with whom I asked to remove the service charge, due to the poor service. I was shocked that the manager said they cannot do that (is this even legal??) and can only apply student discount for us (we can get student discount anyway so this is of no difference).As an old customer, I was so upset after paying the bill and explained to the manager once again about this awful experience. I also told him the big pot chicken tasted worse than before as a feedback and with the hope that they can improve.Now comes to the funny moment. The manager said (his original words), “go try somewhere else next time. After all, you are the customer.”I can’t believe he actually said that! No apologies, no explanation, no nothing!

Lovely halal restaurant especially for those who like lamb and spicy food. Very big portions so well worth the price, we packed quite a bit home to finish later. I've not tried uyghur cuisine before and really enjoyed it, would definitely eat here again and recommend to others. They also have great presence on Instagram so give them a follow :)

Had a lovely meal here with family. We had a lamb pilav dish which was lovely, a type of broken home made noodles with meat and some aubergines with mixed vegetables, all were excellent. Unfortunately I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the food. My own only small criticism was there was no music so it was quiet. Otherwise a great eating experience.

It’s my first time to have the dinner here, and the food is surprisingly amazing! I love all the noodle dishes! The staff here are all very friendly, especially JJ who is very quick to serve us in a very professional way. I’ll definitely come back again.

Went there for the first time and really enjoyed my meal.It was a nice change to only have to pick from a small menu, but everything there sounds nice.I had the hand pulled noodles with lamb. Was a delight. I will definitely be frequenting again!

Spicy Chicken with Noodles - Flavour is good, the level of spicy is manageable, vegs and noodles in the dish are soaked in the soup with full flavour.Uyghur Kebab - Spicy and crunchy outer layer with well done inside.Uyghur Polo - Recommend! The lamb on the rice flavoured perfectly, must try.

Incredible food, incredible people!!! I need to go again and again!!!The meat was tender and delicious, the chicken noodles were amazingly spicy, the salad was refreshing, and the dessert was not too sweet - all perfect!!!

Everything we tried was really good and full of flavour, we had the spicy chicken noodles, uyghur dumplings, samsa, uyghur tea and rice pudding. I’d recommend all of those, and thank you to Fatih for the recommendations and the pudding :)

Its a nice Uyghur restaurant in Holborn. The atmosphere is very homey and has a nice lighting. The staffs were incredibly friendly and the food is the undoubtedly wonderful. The price? Its very affordable (they even have 15% discount for student and NHS).All and all, this is where you can taste the mixture between Chinese and Middle Eastern food
