Diglis Bridge
You can walk down from the main road bridge down one side of the river and back up the other side and take in the views along the way. When you get to Diglis bridge take in the view of the locks.

Pont y Werin Bridge
Very convenient bridge to Penarth or Cardiff Bay depending on which side you are on. Very impressive when erect!

Newport City Footbridge
This bridge, when first implemented, gave a very unique and futuristic look that compliments Newport, bringing more life to the area. However, the bridge has slowly gone into disrepair, looking absolutely filthy with dirt from over the years and generally looking more like an eyesore as time goes on.The bridge could still be great if more care was given to it.

Bridge of Orchy
What a picturesque river setting, I wish I had more time to spend here. There’s a small picnic spot with a couple of table, space on the road for camper vans and motor homes. There’s the Bridge of Orchy Hotel only 100m away which serves great food. This is a lovely spot to stay for a while.

Cox Green Footbridge
Great for a walk with the dog, lots of wildlife and activity in the river. There are stables at Cox Green, so lots of horses too. New plough has a lovely spot on the river bank and serves good food and drinks. Only gripe was the smell on the North side of the bridge/river, not sure where it was coming from, but there was a strong sulphur smell. Driving to and from Cox Green also gives an interesting view of Penshaw Monument, poking out above the woods!

Pont Fawr (Inigo Jones Bridge) Llanrwst
My rating denotes the importance of this bridge as a real Beaty spot. However it needs the authorities to show it more TLC .Large volumes of traffic use it all day everyday. It is frequently damaged by very large vehicles. It is the jewel in the crown respect it.

The Bridge Tyringham
great place to chill, especially when the weather is fine, took loads of pics here of, Egyptian Geese, Red Kites, Buzzards, Kestrels Hobby Hawks. as well as the usual suspects swans /geese/ grey herons / cattle egrets. I must add don't visit here expecting to see all of these at once , being retired I spend hours waiting to see anything sometimes. Tyringham Hall is not open to the public but is a nice view with deer on site which can be seen from the road. At the moment (10/09/2016) there are repairs to the bridge which needs to be approached with care as the temporary traffic lights don't always work.
