Perfect Cafe & Shake (Walsall)
My boyfriend placed as order and we received Inedible food. There was also a hair in my sandwich. Toast was soggy and burnt and the food had a strange taste, couldn’t even eat it.

Lounge
Good (ish) food, unfortunately second time now eggs are overcooked. Staff were chatting away at the counter but never actually came to check if everything was ok.Edit; just came back home and felt sick, so updated food to 1 star.

McDonald's
It was my second time in this McDonald's. First time was bad but the second time was terrible. Got a chicken wrap". The meat was cooked at least 2 days ago. Super hard and dry with shell on top. You could kill with it. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. I really don't know how someone can give it to people. You should be ashamed."

McDonald's
UPDATE: Visited yesterday and for the first time in a very very very very long time... pleased to report the upstairs area was clean and tidy. A young lad constantly walking around and keeping on top or cleanliness.. well done. Fingers crossed this continues and the below does not return. Food still luke warm too cold... It would appear the staff spend most of their time focusing on orders for the various delivery companies before 'walk in' customers.. perhaps causing our food to be cold?ORIGINAL REVIEW:So with 3 McDonald's within about a 10 minute drive this is certainly the worst. This McDonald's is situated in the town centre and is always quite busy. The ground floor has a few table booths to the left and a disabled toilet. You then have an open space to the right with freestanding ordering machines, however when busy you have people queuing to order at the tills, others queuing to order at the machines and then others queuing to collect their order, it gets really congested, confusing and up close and personal. There were tablets/screens against the window for customers to use, but it would appear these are no longer available. There are stairs to the far right which lead to the main seating area and main toilets. Warning, when busy, you do have to struggle with all those queuing to get there. The general cleanliness of this McDonald's is poor. It seems as though the majority of staff:a) can not be bothered,b) do not like, orc) do not know how to clean. We have watched various staff tickle tables with a cloth, reluctantly touch rubbish with finger tips, push food onto the floor and merely pick up the main bits and leave the rest. The only member of staff we have seen, who seems to care and seems to work and try her best to keep the area clean is an older lady, with her hair tied back in a small bun, I think she has been there for years and she clearly tries hard. So, some more negatives, the upstairs area is often filled with young delinquents who merely want to cause trouble, throw food/packaging and be a general nuisance. Opposite McDonald's is 'Christmas Tree Island' which attracts clusters of people, drinking alcohol, often shouting/swearing or arguing.. they seem to pop into McDonald's to use the toilets. The food, generally is luke warm, and if ordering to your table, keep an eye on the staff wandering around with food on a tray, although the tables are numbered and fixed, the staff never appear to know the layout, you will likely need to flag them down.

The Haven Brewers Fayre
Came here whilst visiting family, and they recommend we go here as they've been before and liked it - we loved it!It was immensely cheap, great, attentive service - greeted and sat quickly and cleared the plates within minutes of us finishing. Great value for money and great service - so good, we went back the next day for lunch! The 2 mains for £10.49 add a starter or dessert or £2.49 was such a great option with a variety of choices!Food was hot, tasty, filling and reasonably priced - I'd love to have something like this in Harrogate! Will be returning when we next visit!

The Ironstone Miner - JD Wetherspoon
We love Guisborough, and we always pass through it on our way to visit the Pickering area in North Yorkshire. The Ironstone Miner is a lovely modern Weatherspoons where we always stop to eat. Free disc parking up to 2 hours along the high street. Great service, good food at an affordable price.

I had a feta and vegetable sandwich, was very good bread and a hearty portion. The bread was a little rough on the roof of my mouth but otherwise delicious!

Had a lovely meal there, staff were friendly and attentive. Decent beer, wine over priced (£25 for a bottle of house white)
