It's a nice place for a relaxing walk in Southport. It would be good for younger children as they can feed the ducks and see the parrots in the aviary.

One time home of Lord Byron, now owned by Nottingham City Council. Many rooms open, with picture lined walls, Byron memorabilia to look at, fantastic gardens, and grounds to explore. Plenty of parking, picnic areas, cafe.

Morrab Gardens
Gorgeous space with loads of benches and other places to relax. Very well kept with not just tropical plants but also animals such as squirrels and hedgehogs. It's very quiet and peaceful; a perfect place to relax, draw, read or stroll about in.

University of Dundee Botanic Garden
Excellent place to spend the day or afternoonThey have a huge variety of native, non native and rare plants. While the glasshouses are small, they hold everything you would expect from a botanic garden. This place is somewhere Dundee should be proud of.

Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Very beautiful gardens. Loved the green house and glass houses, they are so pretty. It's a nice place to relax with friends n family. Make sure to bring nuts for the little squirrels
