Excellent local music shop. We need to support this kind of business or there will be nobody to get us out of trouble when we need strings at the last minute, replacement instruments and amps without having to wait for days on end for them to be shipped...Wessex Music is tucked away but is a real gem once you find it. Loads of essentials at reasonable prices.

If I could give this company a zero I wouldHave just been verbally abused by one of their scaffolders for simply asking if they were finishing the job todayThey were at my house to remove scaffolding yesterday and this morning when I left for work2.45 I returned they’re at the lorry eating and texting with half the scaffolding still up (2nd day) and Simon smith became a vile abusive manWhat amazes me is 3 men and me on my ownVery much doubt it would of been the case had I been a man!Horrible intimidating excuse for a manNot at all impressed that Cade have people like this working for them

Telephoned and tentatively bought a second hand serviced clarinet unseen from Wessex website, which was posted to me in London. When it arrived, despite being serviced (many of the pads were new) one of the keys was sticking, (later diagnosed as transit damage) I phoned the shop and within an hour they had found someone close by in London to repair the instrument for me at their cost. The clarinet was back at my house in perfect condition by the time my daughter arrived home from school to meet her new instrument. Dave who fixed it in London was really helpful & knowledgeable , and Tim in the shop could not have been more apologetic or helpful. Great Service. Thank you. Really pleased.

Total waste of time. 4 weeks ago they put up scaffolding. They were told what the problem was, when they finally turned up they had no idea what the job was!, this after a 35 minute conversation with the office the night before!. The guys that do the work are great. The people that work in the office are worse than useless. When the job was finished it took 3 weeks and 4 phone calls to get it taken down. Do yourself a favour and use another company.

Would not even give one star. The most appalling company. As a home owner and having no choice but to used these through my lease hold I have been left with damaged property, an unfinished shed roof and scaffolding up since October! No customer service at all, no communication and have had people trespassing on my property. Emails and calls ignored for days and lazy, rude staff both in person and on phone
