Aberystwyth Fishing Lake

Worst experience of my life,i was fishing there yesterday with one rod and i had my wife with me,i catch a fish before the owner show up with his big dog to take the money for a day fishing(12 pound),my wife gave him the money cash and i had a drill at that moment and he was look at me while i drilled for a moment and after he go and hided after bushes,i took the fish out,i've put both of them together on the ground to take some photos(the first one was in the water all time) he show up release the leash off the dog and start shout and scream at me,humiliated me,give me orders and my wife was terrifed about that moment she doesnt no what to do,i released the both fish in front of him and the dog try to bite me twice,verry uncomfortabe moment,i was fear for my life.after that i take my rod out of water and go home because who knows what he could do to me.all that because i am not from this country and i haven't seen the rules on internet and my english is not verry good,he treathened me with the police if i leave this rewiew but honestly i couldn sleep last night and i still shaking.he shouldn act like this ,he shold try to explain me with calm ,he treated me like i was a garbage and a slave ,that's how i filled!

It was a very unpleasant experience in this fishing place, the owner started yelling and threatening my husband at the moment he was taking a picture of the fish, moreover the dog became aggressive seeing that the owner is very aggressive, we were simply shocked because we did not understand the inappropriate behavior, fishing should be a relaxation and not a threat even though I paid everything that can be paid legally!

Fantastic place to fish, well maintained and plenty of fish to keep myself and my boy busy all day

Been today with my dad while down on holidayGreat days fishing I had nine carp biggest 20 lb all fish over the 10lb markAlso lost two bigger fishMy dad had 7 carp and also lost a fewLovely piecefull setting

Saturday 23rd April. Fished with my brother and his mate .I had five fish FOUR at 91/2 to 11lb one at 13,4lb. my bother had TWO at 71/2lb and his mate had EIGHT FISH9 to 13.4lb. Another good day. thank you

Fishery owner very helpful to disabled people .The lady there if you give notice will tape off a swim for you and you can park directly behind it aswell.And these swim are very good theres an island chuck maybe 30meters in front spot on.Use a method feeder with pellets and you will have a good bit of sport but beef up your tackle theres some big fish to be caught ..

Great fishing here, toilets, none so don't get caught out needing to drop one, ok if you want a leak , if your a woman tho, hope you got a good bladder

Lovely little lake with carp up to the low 20's... Plenty of silvers for the match anglers. Owned by a lovely couple and very family friendly.

Love this place, great fishing to be had in such a lovely location. We regularly travel up from Cardiff, looking forward to a few more trips this year. Owners always make you feel very welcome.
