I have used MEL for many years. The staff including part sales, engineers and Jamie the owner are always professional, knowledgeable and helpful. If there is a down side it is Volvo Penta prices :)Clean and tidy showroom. Well recommended.

I called from the Scillys with a broken drive belt on my Volvo Penta. They had one in stock, rushed it to the post office the same afternoon, and I received it in St Marys (via the harbour master) the next day. Less than 24 hrs. Brilliant.

Brilliant service from Neal who went above and beyond to get hold of some urgent parts from Volvo Penta required to rebuild a customers engine to get sailing again.

Brilliant service from the team. We arrived in Plymouth ready to set off for ARC Portugal and needed a spare part and some expert eyes on the engine. They managed to fit us despite a heavy workload. I have had a very long relationship with ME Looe extending back around 10 years including my current boat and my previous vessel.I paid ME Looe to replace my engines and drive train complete about 6 years ago as part of a project and they have maintained them for me ever since.Two things stand out for me - firstly the professionalism of the service with the whole team who are always happy to help and deal with any matters that arise without stress.The second is that when I have had any kind of engine issue they have been extremely effective at getting to me and resolving them as a matter of urgency.The peace of mind that is provided by this relationship and service is without match and difficult to value.My thanks particularly to Neal, Paul, Nick and Luke and of course Jamie and the rest of the team who continue to allow me to enjoy all elements of my boating hobby!James Jacobs (Odyssey)

Absolutely excellent service from Marine Engineering. Volvo themselves were a nightmare in getting our order to Marine Engineering however Brad in particular repeatedly fielded our chasing calls with good humour and more importantly did everything he could to help us get what we needed even to the extent of arranging a same day courier to get them to us... A level of customer service missing in so many companies.. Thank you :)
