Paid £60-70 on shoes only to realise they gave us the wrong size, we went to see if we could get a refund, the staff gave us a very hard time and went to look at the CCTV in case of fraud. (We had the receipt, original box and the shoes of course.)Also some more little things for y’all to know about the store manager! The store manager accused us of fraud (they saw us on CCTV buying the shoes).Store manager, you have no sense of responsibility. Note!: They refused to give us their name, only the staff number.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SPORTS DIRECT!

The worst guy I ever dealt with in Edinburgh is working here. I tried returning my shoes and I only worn them once but he refused and said I do not understand the return policy and that they should should be in original condition. I bought them last week and when playing they were uncomfortable and now I can’t return them back according to this guy. I Will never come back to this place

Definitely not coming back to Edinburgh's (Princess Street) shop after dealing with an unprofessional shop manager who didn't mind being rude and argumentative to me and my wife in front of other customers. This person obviously needs some elementary customer service training and to be taught that being the shop manager doesn't give you the right to mistreat customers.

Extremely rude ladyI asked if I can try on shoes and she told me to go away and sit somewhere. After waiting a while for her to come she said we soon close so I have to be at the till paying in 10 minutes time (it was 20 mins to closing time) but I knew exactly what I wanted so I knew I won't be slow so I told her not a problem I will be quick (I was out of the shop in the span of a bit less than 10 mins aka 5:50 in fact). When she found my shoes in my size she slammed them in front of me on the chair.I mean she probably was having a bad day, or maybe staff are underpaid and overworked, at the end of the day the staff aren't happy and nor are the customers.

If was nice,only by the staff,that was almost alone in a shut area.He was very helpful and patience,with all the customer.While in the till were more staff.Aniway and so happy with my walking shous and l love Sport direct.

I have been to the store i asked my size of shoe but no one were able to help me it takes 1/2 and hour to me to wait for my shoe size and after waiting myself go to the till and they didnt even know they are working or time passing in the store very rude people . The lady i spoken with was very rude . If the customer is coming to your store what ever the problem is needs to be negotiated and have to be solved and make sure customer is happy but i was very disappointed with the service I run a bussiness i know how to deal or negotiate with the customer but i think i was expected more from this store , customer service comes first no matter what and make sure customer needs to leave the store happily but i dont think they keep the right people . Disgusting experience for me . I Never ever suggested anyone to this store .

After searching for a pair of trainers yesterday & having been around a few stores in the Princes St area, I eventually found the one's I wanted in Sports Direct, but oh my word!!...what a horrible shopping experience. The staff member getting the size I needed from the store cupboard was SO rude...to all the customers & it wasn't even that busy. There is zero customer service from this particular staff member & other people were noticing his rudeness - this needs addressed, as there is no need to be treated in this way by a shop worker whose job it is to help you!!Come on Sports direct! - sort out your staff training.

Change your staff! ABSOLUTELY RUDE. I'm working too in the customer service and I've never been frustrated or rude with NO ONE!!!!And many many times I've been in this store and always the staff has been really rude. If they don't like the job just change! It's better for your customers....Very very disappointed and I can say and see not just me!!

Rude manager when I advised that a shoe was kept above a box labelling incorrect price. He said not really why maybe confusing for you and changed the location of the shoe instead of acknowledging. Wasted my 20 min .

Good offers on shoes and clothing. Staff is helpful. It's usually busy there, sometimes can't find space to sit and try shoes on. Apart from that good shopping experience overall.
