You'll get wonderful views of Edinburgh by taking a short, 10 minute walk up this hill. The path is quite overgrown in parts, but it's not too overgrown that you can't easily push past it. It's also quite a hidden path, so you don't see much until you reach the top where the brambles open out and you can see all around for miles.
