The best restaurant in town. I'll come back as many times I can. Love love this place, the food with so warm, well seasoned, good wine/drinks, very cozy place and traditional. I definitely recommend.

This was an awful experience, I choose the 2 course lunch Menu and seafood rice, 1st course was “grilled Sardines” and they were completely black unable to eat and unclean( guts and poop) so when I bite them they were bitter. My mouth full of poop which made me want to puke, we ordered a seafood rice which included big king prawns that were not cleaned either and over cooked. Costumer service was terrible, the young men who serve the tables came to trow the garlic bread I ordered overall it’s the worse place I have visited in UK which “ offers Madeira food” but it’s the taste is not comparable to the autentique português food, it’s an ashamed I wasted my money there. That restaurant could make people sick how how unclean it’s. It’s all full of dust etc...

The lunchtime menu at a set price was excellent value for money. The portion sizes were good and the taste was delicious. The keylime cheesecake was so light and refreshing. We were looked after well by the waiter.

Went for lunch 2 courses for £14.95, very large main dish, too much for me so had half wrapped to take home. Would particularly recommend the Chicken Portuguese

Went there yestrrday. The service from the friendly and warm-hearted lady was exceptional. Our order included the delectable seafood spaghetti and the hake fillet with the delightful Portuguese special sauce - both dishes were truly delicious!
