Had a wonderful relaxing weekend in the romantic countryside suite with my partner Danielle. Elaine & Pete are super hosts & cooks! We loved the immaculate modern suite & wood burning hot tub in the garden. We had a great time & felt very welcomed & relaxed. We also loved exploring the surrounding areas & can't wait to come back to stay again. A great sleep was also had too, thank you!!

We had an amazing night's stay at Tafarn y Waen (formerly The Farmer's Arms). The room was exquisite, the hosts Elaine and Pete were warm, kind and welcoming, the views were serene, and the breakfast was great. The trip there was quite easy, and is straightforward after leaving the main road. We will definitely be booking another couple of nights here, and look forward to our next stay.

Just the most incredible stay, we travelled with friends and all of our expectations were exceeded. The hosts are the most lovely people and our rooms were immaculate and luxurious. Most exceptional cooked breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble - we were looked after so well. By far the best place we have stayed in a long time. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for our Easter break, Elaine and Pete offer a warm welcome to their lovely Inn. With open fires, oak beams and delicious breakfast!, we stayed in there deluxe accommodation which was a huge bedroom and a sitting room, this allowed us to have sole use of there wood burning hot tub, awesome. Can’t recommend it enough.

A bit out of the way for us as we have mobility issues bit all in all nice enough. Lovely and quiet.Cant go in with dog but ordered a breakfast which Pete brought to our van piping hot and cooked lovely. He even came back for the empty tray. The only downside for us was that you could only use toilets when open( I know that is like a lot of places) .For someone without mobility issues or toilet needs, I would recommend it

We stayed to do the first leg of the Welsh Camino and it is brilliantly situated for that..right on the last part of day two. Very close to the centre of at Asaph. The place and the hosts were lovely..really nicely furnished and so clean, we ordered some food after a long day of walking and it was ideal. Would definitely recommend people to stay here.

We have just returned home from a 3 day break at the Farmer's Arms. I never normally write reviews, but Elaine and Pete at the Farmer's Arms are definitely worth a review. From the moment we booked the service was exceptional, we were kept informed from word go. When we arrived at the property we were given a warm welcome and that same warmness and kindness continued throughout our stay. The room was fantastic, warm, cosy and finished to a very high standard. It was more than a room, it was like a mini cottage with a sitting room and private garden to the rear. The Super KIng bed was so comfortable and spacious. The power shower was a pleasure in the morning. Home cooked food was on offer in the bar area with a fire crackling away in the background, bliss! The location of the property is a tranquil and serene. Spacious car park is attached to the property. The cooked breakfast is sublime, please try! Thank you to Elaine and Pete you are lovely people and great hosts. We will return.

Perfect one night stopover! Elaine and Pete were super friendly, the annexe room suited us down to the ground with our little boy. Very spacious and a cracking breakfast the next morning served on its own terrace!
