I have attended scent classes with my rescue beagle Ruby, for many months now. I have owned dogs for years, but never a beagle, a totally challenging experience! After a short time, Ruby and I started to build a wonderful bond.We have a closer, mutually respectful affection now ,that extends to home and everyday life. Thank goodness for Liz whose knowledge, training and good humour has make such a positive difference to our doggie home!

Liz is one of the most thoughtful, knowledgeable, and well rounded dog experts I know. Her diverse and extensive background gives her a unique perspective that allows her to tailor the vast body of knowledge related to dog training and behavior to individual dogs. She is always curious, open to exploring alternative possibilities, and diligent in finding scientifically based causes and symptoms. She is an ideal partner in helping you and your pup be the best you can be together.Disclaimer - Liz was my collaborator for my doctoral research in Animal Computer Interaction at the Open University where we investigated assistance dog behavior (tail wagging) as a means to assess their user experience. Having her was an invaluable asset to broadening my knowledge and understanding of dogs.

We contacted Liz as we were wanting to get a dog for the first time and were not quite sure which dog we should get and one that would best suit us.She was really friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and asked us lots of questions about what we wanted in a dog, what kind of lifestyle we had and whether we wanted a large or small dog.She was very thorough and explained that having a dog would be a big commitment and having the right dog would make the difference on how we would feel.Every time we had a questions, we would contact Liz and she would always come back to us with the answer. After lots of conversations she decided that one the best dog that would suit us would be a Tibetan Terrier. She was also able to give us advice on where we could get a Tibetan Terrier and who the best breeders to go to.We have since bought a Tibetan Terrier and he is a wonderful addition to the family. We can't believe how loving, caring and funny he is.We have spoken to Liz since we bought Hugo as we had lots of questions about looking after a puppy, were we feeding him enough and how often should we feed him, how did we know when he needed the toilet, how do we deal with him getting over excited and nipping with his razor sharp baby teeth. She gave us some really good advice, put our minds at rest and told us that we were doing a good job.We are so pleased we spoke Liz before we bought Hugo as I believe this has helped us to choose the right type of dog that would be best suited for us. It's like having a new baby again and he is so adorable. We can't thank Liz enough for all the advice she gave us before we bought Hugo and all the help and support she has been able to provide since we brought the little man him. Thanks again Liz you are a superstar.

Thank you Liz for helping us train our wonderful Leia. Liz is very knowledgeable about dog training, very understanding and fun. Our puppy looked forward to seeing her every week for the lessons and she learned a lot from Liz. We look forward to Liz visiting us again for further training.

We sent out an SOS a few months ago, as we were struggling to help our 2 year labradoodle with her fears and anxieties. Liz responded immediately, spending over 2 hours at our home talking through our concerns. She gave us effective strategies which have proved invaluable, and introduced us to her weekly scent classes. This has enabled our dog to grow in confidence and reduce her anxieties. Liz regularly stays in touch and offers valuable advice and support.Liz is extremely dog centred, she uses her professional knowledge, experience and compassion to enhance and enrich the lives of the dogs with whom she works. We are grateful to Liz and would highly recommend her.

I was lucky enough that my mum was a ‘dog’ friend of Liz and she suggested I contact her for some online lessons when we got our 12 week old chihuahua puppy. I had weekly zoom lessons with Liz for several weeks where she demonstrated with her gorgeous dog and watched me try bits with Chico. She also very handily typed up in detail all that we had covered each session with further training tips to try and emailed them across within a day of the session. What I learnt with Liz was invaluable! When we got Chico it was peak lockdown so he hadn’t been socialised and was a ‘typical’ chihuahua in initially being very anxious when meeting other dogs and people and, would bark in response. Liz gave us the skills and confidence to work through this and helped problem solve when we were struggling. Chico is now a ‘well rounded’ fantastic 9 month old puppy who hardly barks and loves meeting people and dogs on his walks.I would highly recommend Liz to anyone getting a puppy and/or new dog as she has a wealth of knowledge, experience and is really personable as well as reliable. If we hadn’t have had those lessons I really feel we would not have the same dog!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! We are so grateful to Liz for training Rocket, our whippet, over weekly zoom sessions. Whippets are renowned for poor recall but I can honestly say Rocket is so good, all I have to do is whistle, put my hand in the air and he comes flying back. The training sessions were fun and very easy going, the kids even joined in.When Liz came to Cornwall we met up and took our dogs for a walk, I felt like I’d met up with an old friend.Liz is so knowledgeable I still ask her questions now and then. Thank you so much Liz, because of you walking Rocket is an absolute pleasure.
