The wide open fields are bounded by plenty of woodland. There are rough parts plus some intriguing slopes on the far side of the link road.

Nor very good place to go field like a dog toilet were lazy owners don't pick it not very good with children playing sports on the field....

Lovely local spot.Free parking and a fair bitThere is a park for the kids, absolutely loads of land to walk/ play. There is plenty to explore if you are adventurous and don't mind going in the woods too

Being from Ely this is my local park. Years and years ago you used to be able play golf,bowls and tennis over here but alas not anymore.We lost our mam to cancer a few weeks ago and she used to walk her dog here a cpl of times a week.I truly believe that people should do a bit of research, there is a reason it's called Ely racecourse" I couldn't believe the stuff I found out about it.We used to ride our bikes upto top of the woods and be there all day.I miss those times

Large empty open space,trees grass and plenty of room to stretch you're legs play footy or roam around the woods, perfect for getting your excercise or clearing you're head,one of cardiff secret gardens, well worth a visit.

Great place for my daily(?) walk. Good paths and lots of trees and wilder areas.Shame about litter being left though.

Great area for sports and at time of visit football pitch being used and crowds of public supportOne BIG downside was dog mess everywhere on grass and paths even in the children's play area poor show from dog owners in area

Huge. Woods are cool. Generally clean and tidy, grass kept well, football pitches/goals, ramps, enclosed sports area, boxing gym, beautiful trees, plenty of bins.....the mitorbikes etc are abit annoying but not a daily occurance, car park, enclosed park with swings and slide etc, dog friendly, benches to rest/relax, nursery/childcare......an all round great place
