I took a group from Rhayader 'The Arches' last night to see 'The Great Escaper' a lovely film enjoyed by all, in a great local theatre. The volunteers who run this could not do more to make this a great experience. Please support this venue.

I think this is the oldest Cinema in Wales - yet now digital, surround sound - the works! But I love the live shows too - saw an excellent performance of Mid Wales opera recently and looking forward to a ballet of The Wizard of Oz. And I can take my drink in too - what's not to like? Let's keep this great venue open, I am sure they would like more 'bums on seats'

We went with our children on a quiet Wednesday evening to see the little mermaid. The cinema was clean and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hadn't been before as I was here visiting family. We certainly intend to come again for one of the live shows.

So badly run. No ushers in cinema half party had to leave one only stayed to not leave a CHILD alone. Adults on phones. So much food bought in it distracted from whole film. Very patronising response if you contact them

I love this little place and am very happy to visit whether it is for live comedy or cinema. I enjoy taking your drink into the performance, something that is new to me. Good value and happy to support this local little jem.

Love the Wyeside, it’s got so much going on and it’s all run by great Volunteers, who are very knowledgeable and helpful and also polite! You can buy snacks and coffee etc to take in to the Cinema with you and they even have a bar! They have various events, show live performances via satellite and produce a what’s on guide booklet. You can book tickets online and where you want to sit.

Local centre for film showing and live bands etc. Clean and comfortable. Nice foyer that sells hot drinks, sweets and alcohol. Up to date showing of films. In order to get that 5th star look into the sound it didn't seem like full blown 5.1
