I took my Toyota Avensis to the garage around 8.30am today as the AC was not working. I said to the gentleman at reception that I had taken the car to Halfords earlier this week and was told that there was a fault either with the compressor or with the pipe. Got a call at 9.50am saying that the pipe needed replacement. The job of replacing the pipe etc would cost me in the region of £650 in total. I said no, I do not want the work done. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I was charged £60 for a diagnostic check! I wish I had known this in advance. Wouldn't have proceeded with the check. Went to the local Toyota dealer (Marshall Toyota). The diagnostic check was for free and was quoted £383.56 for the pipe replacement and regassing (including labour).This is a very pricey garage and I am certainly not going back.

I would very highly recommend this product if you want to keep Yr jam jar from being stolen.very professional company.not cheap ghost immobiliser. but compared to losing Yr car what's expensive ? Car ? Or ghost immobiliser???.

An unexpected hidden gem !! I needed a small but very fiddly repair and was beginning to lose hope that I would find anywhere or anyone to help I was about to leave yet another place and noticed Retrofit next door. With nothing to lose I went in and explained my problem and immediately they said they could fix it, which they did, AND cleaned & polished it as well !! How lucky was that !! Brilliant service, I would give ten stars if I couldIf only more companies had this kind of attitude, Thanks again

Cannot recommend highly enough - superb job from a knowledgeable and incredibly helpful bloke! I’ve been going here for 20 or so years now to get my car audio parts. The team here are very knowledgeable and helpful. I also call on occasion for “tech support” which is given without issue and no pushing to bring the car in for them to have a look at. I like to do my own installations, because I’m stupid, but when I’ve been stuck and had to take it in for the professionals to complete the work it’s always been a speedy and very reasonably priced service. Would recommend Autotronix first to anyone looking for support with car audio.

Fitted tow bar to my rav4 and did an excellent job with the wiring as well.Had an issue with one of the bolt holes on the chassis but Paul sorted that out no problem.Highly recommend the service.
