Went here from all the great reviews as not being local. Well they didn't disappoint.The fish and chips from here are 10/10. Absolutely sublime. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fish and Chips last night was some of the tastiest I have had in a while. Lovely white fish in a light crispy batter, chips spot on. Value for money was superb.

Just had Cod and Chips from this chippy. Absolutely first class. Don't have them too often - but it is always a special treat. Merthyr is spoilt for choice for Chippys" but this place ("Plaice") ranks amongst the very best !!"
