Found the perfect Canon A1 for a realistic price. Got a phone call a day later saying they had done a preshipping check and there was an issue with slow shutter speeds and would I mind waiting for that to be fixed. Two days later I get another phone call saying the camera was on it's way. Absolutely brilliant service and I would not hesitate to buy from again as the prices are realistic and the quality of the goods sold is above excellent. Even got a brand new battery sent with the camera. Don't bother looking a those overpriced hipster boutiques use a real camera shop.

A real gem of a shop that has recently relocated to Ebrington Street in Plymouth. Really knowledgeable and friendly staff who are happy to spend time talking to you no matter how uneducated you might be in the use of cameras and other optical equipment. Long may they remain there!

What a fantastic little shop! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this as we were somewhat aimlessly looking to buy some film - we left feeling like we’d found an absolute gem. We didn’t get the man’s name unfortunately but he was so knowledgable, so friendly and really interesting to talk to! I felt super welcome despite my being an analog photography novice. We bought two rolls of film and are awaiting another roll to be developed - Can’t wait. Definitely recommend :)

This place is as good as it gets camera shop wise!Great selection of film availability at good prices.Huge selection of cameras for sale!I have sold cameras with Soper Photographic and was given a really fair price I was more than happy with. Even when I needed a developing tank for my 4x5 negatives, Russell went into the store room and dug around to find me a tank!Roma is very quick to respond to online queries and keeps you in the loop with any ongoing orders/sales.Can’t recommend enough!

Great analogue camera store. Polite,helpful friendly service. Offers a fantastic range form sub-miniature to large format. Prices are very good and all cameras are fully checked. Bought an Contax RX and lens in outstanding condition after being shown around it.

Travelled up from mid Cornwall to buy a point and shoot film camera. The shop had exactly what I wanted in a great condition Olympus Trip. The man who helped me out was so lovely and went through loading, shooting and setting changes in the shop with me before I was let loose in the wild with it. I took it straight on holiday and have been shooting with it all summer. Highly recommend this place, thankyou!
