Lovely green space by the River Taff, perfect for walking, cycling (both on shared paths), sports, dog walking, picnics (please place rubbish in a bin or take it home with you to leave no trace), bird and wildlife spotting. Looks beautiful throughout the seasons. Attached photo is of Blackweir Bridge from the Pontcanna Fields side.

Busy gathering place in the sun with people playing team games and generally enjoying this open area on the west side of the River Taff.It links into Landaff fields to the west through the boundary wall and Bute Park across the Blackweir Bridge.

Pontcanna fields is wonderfully location to walking, running and feeling nature. There are large grounds you can also play with your family ones. Please don’t throw your garbages to environment.

Lovely big open space to explore. Footpath is shared with bikes but with care ok. Lots of dog walkers. Nice open areas for them to run.

We had a great peaceful weekend here. Great facilities. The reception staff were polite and helpful. We had a great sandwich that was fully filled with a small side salad and large mug of coffee at Pedal Power Cafe each and the price was really good. We will definitely book her again. Serviced pitches, electric and water, so there is no need to haul it from a central water area. Also, there was a grid to drive over on the way out to dispose of your waste water.
