Just wanted to write a review to say how happy I was with how our event ran at Exeter Brewery. From the moment we contacted them to discuss arrangements they were upfront and open about the cost of hiring the venue and how it all worked.We ended up having 80+ people at our private function and all the food (amazing Tom's pies) that everyone ordered came out hot and without delay, which was quite a feat given the size of their kitchen.They were very flexible in the week leading up to the event, with tweaks to the final numbers and food orders and allowed us to use the outside space too, which was a great help.Thanks to Sally and the team for helping us to have a great night, with great food and beer and a lovely rustic venue!I've got no idea what 'stevie bee' was talking about with his review as we had the exact opposite experience with our event. Funny that almost every review he/she has written is rated as 1 star??

Ordered a glass as a gift, paid for delivery, although in Exeter, driver called to ask directions, the glass came with no box just wrapped in bubble wrap, driver was grumpy when I queried, costly delivery even though local, glad it was a one off

They produce an exceptional range of draft beers which you can also get in bottles. A barrel or polypin is essential for a successful party at home! Avocet and Darkness are my favourites

As helpful and friendly as the beer is good. Proud of their produce as they rightly should be. Avocet is a crisp pint not malty nor too bitter. Looking forward to trying the rest of the range. Thanks Jonathon, pleasure to meet you.

Cool atmosphere, nice service, just decent beers.

First of all great place for a party!! The taproom is just brilliant and accommodates up to 50 people! The beer is fantastic! My personal favourite is Avocet. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

Really tasty beer at this brewery tap, made on site with the bar area within the brewery itself. Good selection of their own hand pulled ales but also a good lager, cider, and their stout on keg.
