What a wonderful community gem, this lovely cinema is. Friendly, welcoming, comfortable and accessible.Everything you need and want to go and see a film.Everything about this place makes it a lovely way to view anything from latest releases to ballet on the screen. If you're in the neighbourhood or visiting you absolutely must go and support this venue!

Great cinema, all parts are superb except one. The seats are very close together and as a not small person could get a bit awkward if the cinema was busy.

Lovely place to watch a film. Really close to the centre of town, easy to walk to from anywhere.Good amount of parking and saves is simple.100-seat screens have good atmosphere, rows are ~10 seats so access to an aisle you have kids need to be thought about. Easy to book online and choose your seats. There's a small snack kiosk.If you think a particular film needs a really big screen (imax?) then Lonsdale Cinema might not be the place to go but I've never seen a film i didn't think looked great, seen many Marvel and action films and never felt like the screen needed to be bigger.Great cinema, a real plus for the town

Great cinema. Studios are a nice size, makes a more intimate viewing experience. Very reasonable ticket prices. Good variety of food, drink and sweets. Just a bit draughty, therefor chilly.
