I've eaten at the restaurant here (not stayed at the hotel) and the food was really lovely both times I've been. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is decorated really nicely for Christmas. Staff were really friendly and the cocktails were also great. Lovely choice on the menu too, lots of options. I'd recommend the halloumi starter and the beef bourguignon was amazing

My family and I ate here in September 2023 and were very disappointed.The surroundings are nice and modern, unfortunately the food was below average.The chips look like they were double dipped in the oil meaning they were extra crispy and very greasy. I ordered the 5 Bean Chili (which comes with rice and tortilla chips); the rice was crispy like it had been cooked and then ovened to keep it warm. Similarly, the actual chili was very dry, like the sauce had been cooked out. The bowl it was served in felt like it had been in the oven for an hour it was so warm! To make matters worse, I was given 4 (yes 4) tortilla chips. I had to send it back and order something else…which was only marginally better.We also ordered the loaded fries which were, similar to my chips, double fried and very greasy.The waiters and waitresses were all nice enough, especially who I believe was the manager (a woman) who was apologetic and understanding.We wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there for food, unfortunately.

We had an excellent lunch here. The restaurant is spacious and it wasn't too busy. Our order took a while to arrive, but it was well worth it! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious! The venison was cooked perfectly, and the Shetland Mussels were amazing.It's not the cheapest meal ever, but we will certainly go back.

Great vibe and food to enjoy with the family. This would be 5 stars, however my family and I have been charged a £100 fine each for two cars after parking. There wasn’t obvious signage about paying anything so now we are stuck with a fine. I was planning on returning but it’s not worth a £400 meal (including parking for both cars).

Dropped in for lunch after a recommendation from a local gift shop owner. Definitely not disappointed. Lovely building with a nice interior. Good service and great food for a reasonable price. The highlight of a cold wet and windy tourist visit to Stirling.

Comfortable and quiet rooms with excellent freshly cooked to order breakfast.Evening meals cooked to perfection and very very tasty.Staff are attentive and very friendly , nothing is too much trouble.Would highly recommend!

Really nice little restaurant, recommended before we arrived to visit. Easily booked a table online before arriving. Food was top class, starter is the best I've had in a long time, even had to take a photo after I'd started it. New go to restaurant when visiting Stirling

We were so excited to try this place for breakfast after seeing the great reviews. The restaurant is lovely inside, servers were friendly, but the food left us a bit disappointed. The chicken in the Chicken Waffles was tremendously overcooked while the waffles, bacon and eggs were tasty, and the cheese on the Mexican eggs was straight from a can (tasted of tin) and cold.
