The Plough Arts Centre
Wonderful venue that takes you back in time, when Art's Centres cared about each and every person that came through the door. The food is astonishingly good; the warm goats cheese, beetroot and walnut salad, my word, delicious; and all the staff and volunteers were so welcoming and kind. Saw the excellent Rosie Jones, who was brilliantly funny, and got to meet her afterwards. What a memorable event, all round. A real treat night out. Thank you everyone involved.

Absolutely fantastic food, in both looks and taste. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and good prices to top it all off. Highly reccomend if visiting this quaint little town.

The Plough is an excellent local art centre. I have attended theatre performances, live music events & film showings on numerous occasions. The cafe is pleasant & friendly.

Great arts centre showing work of local artists. Nice little cinema showing all the latest films with live music and plays as well. Very welcoming and friendly. Charlies at the Plough serving good variety of food with value for money.

This place punches above it's weight in most respects. Gets some great acts, shows recent released films, has a decent cafe and bar, all while being quite intimate as a venue. We'll worth a visit for whatever reason.

Had a great night at the cinema last night - Torridge deal is fab and food/drink selection to take in is fab! Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend Charlie’s @ the Plough too for food beforehand

a great night celebrating 50 years of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Well done to Sara Pruce for organising the post-show merriment! just like the Plough used to be, lots of cross-dressing locals having a great time. Hope Charlie's bar took good money.
