Best weekend iv had with my son.. Bagged 10 fish..Absolutely amazing place to bring your kids camping and fishing. The owner is a absolute gentleman, very friendly place. I would definitely recommend a tent and BBQ for some fresh fish..Stunning area lots of wildlife, mushrooms and wild berries growing..Honestly can not wait for our next visit

I pass this place most mornings on my walk. It is a quiet and secluded a good place to get away from life's stresses

Absolutely great fishery friendly staff and clean pools they stock it often and there can be a variation of fish to be caught there is a course pond or 2 and a trout pond ive personally seen brownies rainbows blues tigers and golden trout stocked there prices were reasonable also if you have young children what a great place to take them I find it easy to catch there and kids allways love it keep up the great work guys

Visited this place yesterday for a spot of course fishing. Had a really good morning session, lovely and peaceful and plenty of fish. Will definitely be back as soon as I get chance.

Will definitely be back. coarse fishing lake was fun , cought few different species of fish . trout fishing lake is well stocked . Cought our limin in no time .

The owner Tony was great. This place was supposed to have been closed on this Monday but he opened especially for us. There's not a great deal of facilities at Blackmountain except for the essentials ie toilet.4 of us went and between us we caught 56 fish mainly rainbow with 1 blue trout caught.Although there were a lot of fish caught in a catch and release day ticket which cost£15. The only downside was the amount of weed in the lake which is there were more of us there could have potentially been a problem.We'll be going again. Hopefully the weed will be less the next time.

Super bad experience!!! I booked a weekend to stay there, when we was there no one answered the phone and no one was in the house. We call several times plus also we left a text message expecting their answer when they were available. Luckily, we could find another camping!! As they never replied! When I've called them, at 8pm, they used a bad excuse, which neither was excuse to explain why they did not send back a text message or call... absolutely helpless and we were so much disappointed. There are better options if you want a nice time out!
